R-3 6A Road To Regionals-Bracket 1

RILEY MCCLOSKEY

I normally don’t engage in speculation anymore, the game has changed and in many ways so have I but I said to myself, WTH, it’s still dark, I want to walk so let me ponder something to drop since UIL brackets aren’t complete and out local paper won’t put out the schedule until the last minute, neither of those has changed but I want to play with 6A from Region 3 and try and predict who has the best chance to make the run. Keen in mind, I’m picking SC to represent the region, either SC but here you go on the first 8

One of the best games should be between teams that have two of the top freshmen, Cinco Ranch (Aniyah Foy) against Fort Bend Austin (Andrea Sturdivant) and I normally don’t attend first-round games, if I did this would be one of the times yet I also don’t do singles, I’m a doubles guy unless it’s close but whoever wins should face Memorial who has had a helluva year as juniors Riley McCloskey and Abigail Tomaski both eclipsed the 1000 pt scoring mark this season and return Memorial to what they used to be over 15 years ago, one of the teams that had a shot at making it to regionals

Memorial will probably face Seven Lakes and sophomore sensation Justice Carlton and in “no Justice, no PEACE” and I’m not talking about loudmouth self-promoters trying to make a name for themselves off of someone else’s child but Carlton has been dominant all year, breaking the school record dropping 40 plus then breaking her own record a few weeks later however she recently closed out the regular season scoring the first 14 points of the game for her team against Cinco Ranch to help avenge their earlier defeat so with all of that being said and yeah “I said it” so with that being said, it’s a toss-up
