Natalie Epstein Firing Back

I had a chance to catch Natalie Epstein last year at the Houston Christian College Camp, where she was not only one of the standouts but also showed me how solid her skillset was see evaluation here. Our paths didn’t cross this season; however, through the magic of video, I was able to see her “on the court” progression as she showed me even more on her YouTube Channel

One of the many things she has added is her “catch and shoot” from outside, taking the defender off the dribble from the wing, and finishing strongly after contact. The lost art of “following your shot” gives her my #THROWBACK hashtag, plus her defense both in and outside the paint has shot up

Her hands and footwork to score with either hand is a huge plus, and as I mentioned in the previous article, she plays taller than she is, yet her agility also looked good as she not only played the passing lane, but handled the ball afterward. Seeing her react and pick pockets is another plus, but so is her timing to block shots

She’s been picking up offers and is heading out on a college tour this weekend, yet more will be coming because her work ethic and versatility are things you can’t teach
