2028 Ademuwagun Making Adjustment With Ease

I had a chance to watch Tobi Ademuwagun go from promising to one of the top players in Texas and guess what, her younger sister Toni Ademuwagun is on the verge of something big. Forget that she’s a #sizedontmatter guard, she brings so much to the table right now by showing things you can’t teach, and with DESIRE being one of those things, everything else is falling into place. I caught her initially on the PGH Circuit this past season with her club team see evaluation here and her performance told me she would be on the 2028 Watchlist as she continued to impress see evaluations here

Fast-forward to the Girls’ Thanksgiving Hoopfest. I was overly pleased with her “on the court” progression, yet right after that, she took the show on the road to another tournament and continued to go off. Defending her is a problem because she is so quick and explosive. Being able to change gears can be baffling while trying to guard her because she hits TURBO. In the open or half-court, she’s gone yet stays under control with the ball.

Her acrobatic finishes, her “stop and pop” jumper and her court vision have all gotten better but her “on the ball” defense is smothering at times. When you factor in her quick hands to get steals, that’s usually a scoring opportunity going the other way yet she also plays the passing lane, same results after the steal. She goes after loose balls, she even understands positioning to outrebound taller players yet her UPSIDE is scary, stay tuned
