6’2 Abigail Williams On The Verge
The transfer rule has always befuddled me on how some players can play, while others have to sit out under the same circumstances yet so many things continue to perplex me involving youth sports, what it has become, and where it’s headed but here’s the deal, I honestly think Vista Ridge will be in the mix next season when Abigail Williams steps on the floor with the crew
Williams has become longer and more athletic and it is showing on both ends of the court, whether it’s defending inside the paint or showing she can also step outside of it and guard. She rebounds strongly, on both ends and her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots has gotten better yet her court vision from the 5 also needs to be mentioned
She’s not only scoring around the basket but doing it after contact and her handling the ball on the wing and attacking will have her on the short list of many next-level coaches as the club season gets underway and I’ll be catching her and her talented Phoenix 2025 group a few times over the next few months
