2026 Shuler Taking Show On The Road

I can’t remember exactly where I initially saw Chanel Shuler but I know it was around the 5th grade and I was immediately overwhelmed by her knowledge of the game as we chatted briefly while she told me her goals and what she wanted to achieve before heading to the next level

Well her knowledge also stands out of the court as she was one of the top students in her class at the prestigious Prestonwood Academy yet her progression over the years coupled with multiple growth spurts have had me place her as the top power forward in Texas. Those growth spurts were somewhat painful and she decided to take the summer off and train and when you factor in she’s now 6’3 and more powerful, what does that say as she’s about to enter her sophomore season

It says she has decided to enroll at Link Academy and this is stated on their website “LINK ACADEMY WILL FILL A ROSTER OF 12 ELITE LEVEL GIRLS WHO WILL COMPETE NATIONALLY AND DEVELOP THEIR GAME FOR THE NEXT LEVEL THROUGH HIGH TRAINING ROUTINES, INDIVIDUAL SKILL BREAK DOWN, AND COMPETITIVE PRACTICE ENVIRONMENTS”

I asked Chanel what made her decide on the big switch and she responded “It’s a great opportunity for me to play against National Competition as well as playing on a National Schedule” and based on her mindset and skillset, she’ll do what she has to do to keep elevating her game and I can’t wait to catch the finished product
