2022 Houston Summer Slam “Shooters and Scorers”

I caught a few players that just understood how to make things happen and find ways to put the ball in the basket. I put a few on my Houston Summer Slam NFR Tip Sheet, Damya Freeman (Urban Heroes) Samantha Fields (Texas Elite Hogg), and Destinty Lewis (Houston United Carr) read more, but there were a few others that I CAUGHT LIVE AND IN LIVING COLOR

Jaida Gomez (Austin Elite RFW) 2023 I love the 2-minute warning, that’s what I call when players score double digits in that span of time yet there are other instances when I use that phrase but she was simply unconscious, well I thought she was after the hit on Saturday yet Sunday she took the game over dropping mid to long-range as well as scoring off the dribble plus she played the passing lane

Christin Callens (Just Play Elite 17U Gold) 2024 her stop and pop in transition has been a pleasure to catch all season yet she understands how to use her body and strength to score multiple ways including off the dribble as well as inside the paint, especially on putbacks

Cynthia LeComte (Uptempo) 2024– long and athletic, she attacks from multiple spots and finishes after contact yet she also can create her shot and drop the jumper with ease, her elevating on the jumper has something to do with it

Alexis Duhon (Houston United Chuck) 2024 – I loved watching her score “in the flow” and whether it was attacking from the wing or straight down the middle, she finished consistently, midrange was also nice

Selah Malik (Houston United Bobby) 2024– solid pull-up jumper in the set or in transition, nice release, she has good size, college coach love players standing at the magic number, 6’0, that can shoot the ball and she drops it from deep

Neso Anisibi (Just PLay Elite 16U Gold) 2024– another long and athletic player yet her strides allow her to accelerate in transition with the ball, deceptive first step in the set works as well yet her body control was really nice, so were her finishes as well as her midrange

Natalia Reyna (IJU 14U) 2026– huge upside because she understands when to shoot the ball, playing within yourself is always a plus, nothing fancy other than she can drop it almost from NBA range and her release is quick, the shot is fluid
