Oklahoma GOC 2026 Up Next

I had a chance to catch around 40 players from 4 different GOC teams and I’m switching gears and dropping the 2026 squad because I’m lazy and their individual pictures are next yet just watching Yonariya Nichols mannerisms in street clothes, her observing the games being played and just her poise and confidence while speaking to her just grabbed me. She was out with a broken finger, no problem, I’ll definitely catch her again and soon but she left a lasting impression and I can’t wait, remember I called a kid a #D1Lock while dribbling in street clothes when she was in the 5th grade, yes, I’m that good but here are some more of their up and comers

Alivian Daniels

Daniels showed she could put the ball in the basket multiple ways as she creates her shot under pressure and this enables her to show she can not only drop the long ball but the midrange as well yet that same creating also allowed her to attack the rim from multiple angles and finish after contact. She also plays defense. on the ball, baseline to baseline

Ti’ Heiress Davis

Davis made a huge jump since I saw her a few months ago and I’m talking both “on and off” the court because the confidence, as well as the poise she is showing under pressure, will be huge when you add what she brings to the table and let me start with an explosive first step and her ability t create contact while attacking, yeah jer body control is once as she falls into an “and one” waiting to happen but she also brings plenty of energy on both ends which includes playing the passing lane. Solid defense and the jumper is smooth

Macere Bain

Bain uses her body well and also showed good hands and footwork yet her upside coupled with those things will definitely give her an edge because she can finish strong but she also showed she could rebound, on both ends as well as run the floor and that too is big so her upside is really good because of her skill set as well as a mindset as she just shows she wants to get better on the court

Paige Igon

Igon does a good job of taking the defender off the dribble, with either hand and her deceptive first step combined with her athleticism was nice but so were her finishes as she finished strongly after contact. She also did a good job defending, on the ball, as well as understanding how and when to trap. Good ballhandler and sees the floor plus she battles for rebounds and plays the passing lane

Slatey Free

Free attacks the basket strongly and finishes the same way but taking defenders off the dribble was just part of it because she understands the game and how to make things happen so with her being feisty and around the ball on defense, she uses her athletic ability well as she can apply pressure in the half-court set as well as the full court but she has good upside and when you factor her energy level …

Hannah Cox

Cox is athletic and plays within herself but she also showed she could make things happen that don’t necessarily show up on a stat sheet like applying pressure to trap which causes turnovers as well as making players pick up their dribble however her timing was impressive both in reading the court which allowed her to play the passing lane as well as blocking shots but she also does a good job attacking the basket and finishing

Jaylee Branscum

Branscum creates her shot under pressure and showed she could shoot the midrange as well as attack the rim but she also handled the ball well under pressure, this includes the open court but she also did ut in the half-court set where she added some nice passes. Her upside is good, watching her finish strong was a good sign, so was her desire to play the passing lane which led to scoring opportunities

Cambree Blair

Blair has good hands and came up with some nice steals as well as applied some heat to break up plays yet she also rebounds strongly on both ends and scored both off putbacks as well as moves around the rim but watching her glide to the basket after taking the defender off the dribble was nice, so was her ability to drop the outside jumper but she also showed something that will be very valuable and that was her “catch and shoot” with accuracy

Kaylee Hood

Hood saw the floor well numerous times yet she also played the passing lane numerous times and when you factor in her ballhandling and athleticism, that led to scoring opportunities after the steal yet she created her shot under pressure in the half-court and showed she could either take the jumper or take the defender with either hand and finish strongly after contact. High energy on both ends always is a huge plus, so is her upside

Jayla King

King is heady and plays under control so watching her do certain things, like scoring in the flow as well as not forcing shots was good, so was her court vision yet she also took the defender off the dribble numerous times and finished after the lick however on the flip, she did a good job defending, this includes baseline to baseline as well as the half court set
