HS Conteders at #TheLastRun

THE WOODLANDS, Texas- The Last Run gave me a chance to see some high school teams that will contend for not only the playoffs, but make deep runs. Benjamin Davis is super athletic, especially from the guard spot and Meme Heard and Jerra King simply won’t stop. MaKenzie Johnson is one of many bright spots for Elkins and newomers Sydney Sanford and Alexis Peraza are a couple of freshmen eager to show that they belong. The Bellaire Cardinals are rebuilding somewhat and losing Irenisha Johnson, who made the Tip Sheet, virtually assures them of not winning district but they’ll still be a force with Aeriel Holiday and Aaliyah Austin

Hightower is definitely a team you better keep an eye on, can they make a deep run, yes they can and with Chelsea Lott and Dyamond Pueblo wanting to go out their senior season with a bang, be ready because they can dominate inside, check Pueblo out on the Tip Sheet. If Lenecia Mitchell gets back in time, she’ll join Jasmine Harvey, Treazure Mouton and Taylor Howard as four super sophs ready to do damage and even she doesn’t, Hightower will definitely be a team on my short list for state their final two seasons, especially with junior Rachel Brown and another explosive guard who is truly ready for a fairy tale remix because Madison “is not worried about any” Glass slippers

Clear Creek is young and with a very talented group of sophomores led by Lacee  Savage and Hannah Froeschl, they’ll be in the hunt over the next few seasons, Savage made Last Run Tip Shet. Right now their guide is Mia Hayes who is 100% percent which means that’s a lot of problems for opposing team. Hayes, Kayla Meyers and Savannah Adcock want more than just a district title and you never what can happen in a one game series

Westbury Christian is led by Marissa Banfield, definitely one of the most underrated “17 point guards in the country, no I haven’t seen them all but I’ve seen enough to know enough over the years and my evaluating record speaks for itself. She and Tyra and Cormier are a dynamic duo that form a potent one-two combination, both made Tip Sheets and here’s another TIP, don’t sleep on this squad public schools
