Lady Big Dogs win Varsity in Memorial Weekend Showcase

DUNCANVILLE, Texas- The Lady Big Dogs continue to not only impress but amaze me every time I catch them in action and this weekend was no different as they captured the Varsity Division of the Memorial Day Showcase hosted by Team Ichiban and Tournament Scoop. As always, LBD got a little something from everyone on their way to the title. Destyni Clark continues to do severe damage in the paint over and over again along with Kristal Okeke but the addition of 2018 Mikayla McGuire to help has been huge as the young lady continues to blossom

Another young star, Sarah Andrews is just a 2020 but her upside is unreal, in fact she’s good enough to play HS effectively right now. Erin Sanchez and Kyana Dillingham can fill it up and the improvement I’m seeing from Maci Forsythe, the team’s leading long ball shooter, has been an added bonus as she’s become more aggressive so when you look at their backcourt, you’ll never know which one of those players will be going off.
