Top Performers-Rosewood Division #TJShowcase

One more time, TALENT IS EVERYWHERE and while #53 Madison Hurta (Austin Elite 2024) was only there for day 2, she still stood out and made the STANDOUT GUARDS list on PGH Texas

Emily Archer and Ivy Kerrington, both from OBT Hoops and Lake Travis HS made New Faces Opening Day #TJShowcase and Waco Elite had numerous players on Sunday New Faces #TJShowcase

Morgan Cammon (Phoenix Gold) and Jemima Yowa (Austin Elite 2024) made Improvement From Bigs #TJShowcase

Here are some of the other standouts from the ROSEWOOD Division on opening day

Emani Gibbs-5’6 G (Brennan) Austin Elite 2024

Gibbs is an explosive guard that can blow by defenders in transition or in the set yet her being under control going full speed is a plus, especially since she can make the pass on the money and not break a stride. Her body control enables her to finish acrobatically at times, the jumper was solid as well

Lexie Edwards-6’4 C (Marble Falls) Austin Elite 2024

Edwards showed the “hands and footwork” to go along with her height and that created problems around the basket for defenders as she finished strongly, after contact included, and watching her finish with authority showed her power in the paint. She also rebounds on both ends and did a good job defending

Zania Haymond (Forth Worth Lady Hornets) 2027

Haymond is not only “long and athletic” which is the base, but she’s also tall, and since she’s only a 2027, her upside is scary. She has good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots, she moves well on the defensive end and she scores around the basket. She even hit the short jumper

Alexis Davis (Fort Worth Lady Hornets)

Davis is also long and athletic with good timing. Her interior defense was nice, she did a good job rebounding on both ends of the court and she scored around the basket, putbacks included, after contact

Karlee Konarik-5’11 G (Phoenix Gold)

Konarik filled up the stat sheet and you factor in that she rebounds on both ends and does a good job of seeing the floor and making the right pass, that’s one thing yet her mid to long-range shooting is another. She scores around the basket, putbacks included ad plays the passing lane

Aniya Taylor-5’3 G (Phoenix Gold)

Taylor is heady and understands how to control the tempo as well as run a team. Her court vision in the set as well as in transition will keep her in the conversation yet she also does a good job of setting the defender up to score off the dribble or drop the jumper

Dejah Dudley (SA Lady Hoops 17U)

Dudley brought the heat on both ends and by that I mean she’s an athletic guard to understands how to use her athleticism either offensively or defensively. Her on-the-ball pressure helped created turnovers, and so did her playing the passing lane yet she was explosive attacking the basket to score or dish

Iduzaye Igiehon (SA Lady Hoops Gold)

Igiehon falls into that “you won’t outwork me “group and watching her DESIRE was refreshing and#THROWBACK as she simply went after everything off the rim, even went after loose balls on the floor. She overpowered defenders, scored off the dribble with players literally hanging on her

Kendall Sullivan (Bayou Ballers 17U) Orangefield [2026]

Sullivan scored off the dribble using a deceptive first step at times but her body control was nice as it helped her finish after contact. She also saw the floor, played solid defense, and even played the passing lane

Rebecca Durbin (Bayou Ballers 17U) Orangefield [2025]

Durbin just battled inside the paint and her understanding of positioning enabled her to not only rebound over taller players but score against them, putbacks included. She also scored around the basket as well as off the dribble

Briazya Addison-5’5 G (Houston United Bobby 16U) Cy Lakes [2026]

Addison does a good job creating her shot under pressure and knocks it down from mid to long-range. She also showed she could score off the dribble and see the floor but her solid defense was nice, and so was her playing the passing lane

Ulani Davis-5’4 G (Houston United Bobby 16U) Dobie [2025]

Davis was another athletic guard that used her athleticism on both ends of the court. Her defense helped create turnovers, and so did her quick hands along with playing the passing lane, yet she also attacked and finished strongly
