TNBA 14U #simmiecolsonclassic
A solid young group of 2027 players with plenty of potential is how I’d SIM it up, yet I was impressed with the progression from a few I have been watching a couple of seasons, well really impressed
Amanda Rossini was poised under pressure and watching her handle the ball and see the floor while “in the heat” was nice yet she scored bt attacking the basket and showing the jumper. Her “on-the-ball” defense was also a plus and she dove for loose balls
Sophia Rousse used her athleticism on both ends as she did a good job “getting after it” on defense. She understood how to trap and showed nice lateral movement but her deceptive first step got her to the rim
Kenadee Josey does what I love to see and that’s “play the passing lane” yet she also did something else that grabs me attacks the basket and use body control on her finishes but her defense was also nice
Brylee Naccara is “long and athletic” which will always be the base and watching her run the floor, on both ends, score off the dribble and around the basket was nice but her “timing” was also nice as well as her upside
Journey Price scored off the dribble and hit the boards on both ends. Not only did she score on putbacks but she also showed some nice moves in the paint to score. She defended both in and outside the paint
