2019 KENNEDE TUCKER
The BigTyme Fall Finish had talented players on every team and I’m sure you’ll gather that because I gave something coming on just about all of them. Several of those teams had, well I won’t call them babies because the maturity level they showed told me something totally different and when you have the mindset some of these young ladies have, especially at the early stages of their game being developed, watch out. One player in particular, Kennede Tucker, a 5’6 guard from Pulaski Heights Middle School in Little Rock, played for the 2016 Arkansas Mavericks, a team I had a chance to write about several times over the summer and more to come from this event. I guess you might be wondering what the big deal about Tucker is, well she turned 11 in April and was playing against kids as old as 18, talk about playing up. First off all, she doesn’t look 11 and second, she sure doesn’t play like it. Whether it was getting knocked around, nailing a long jumper or playing tough defense, this young lady will be in the mix for Top 100 in the 2019 class.
