DANI FIELDER

Dani Fielder isn’t a household name when you think about players that can play at the next level as she gets ready to head into her senior year at Cy Creek after this summer which will be the most important July of her basketball career. At 6’0, she can do a whole lot of things on both ends of the basketball court however as we saw most recently with the 2012 class that produced around 80 next level players from our area alone, Texas is a big state and with Houston being one of the must stops for recruiters, I’m talking about colleges, there are players everywhere that sometimes happen fall through the cracks. These are players I consider that have for whatever reason stayed “Under the Radar”. My theory is this, with so many players out there you don’t know about and I have always considered myself as being someone who has gone against the grain, I’ve decided to something totally different.

AJ Alix and Christin Inman are the top players from our area in the 2013 class; they have been set since before they entered high school as far as being D1 ballplayers, both were on National Top 100 Watch Lists as freshmen and so are many others year after year who will play at the next level regardless of what you think or have been told. After the top 10-20 players you already know about, there will always be kids out there that can play, maybe they don’t get the spin, maybe they are in the wrong system or didn’t play well during exposure events or maybe injuries have played big parts into why they have been missed.

After the “GPR Certified” Insiders Basketball Classic, the Texas Top 100, the Area Top 30 and also the areas “Best of the Rest” for the 2013 Class will be adjusted along with the top high school players from each class as we head into the July events, this will be for the college coaches’ eyes only through the Girlz Prep Report Scouting Service. Also the front page of this website will be changing up some as I move from having National Player Rankings, it’s become too generic everywhere else, to players I feel that are “Under the Radar” for the 2013 and 2014 classes from our area. The Rising Stars will change a bit also as it will consist of players from the 2015 and 2016 area. Keep in mind that the “UTR” and “Rising Stars” lists are not rankings, only players I feel that are just that, Under the Radar and Rising Stars. I will also add a “Middle School Watch List” tab listing players who I believe will do some damage early once they enter high school
