2013 Willie Ready To Explode
Over the past two seasons, Cy Falls has proved itself as one of the best teams not only in the area but the state as well. Their record (75-5) speaks for itself and this year they did what many felt they should have done last season and that’s make it state. A big reason for the team’s success has been the steady improvement of 6’2 Carol Willie who is one of the top posts in the state. This summer she will travel with her club team, the Houston Wildcats, and how well she continues that improvement will determine if she falls into that mid-major to high-major range. The defensive end has been there as Carol has used her D1 ready body to battle in the paint but the offense was something that needed a little work. While playing on teams that had so many offensive minded guards that could score, that wasn’t the role Willie needed to play however if the area regionals were any indication on what to expect, she is ready to take on starring part in the offense as well. An outstanding student with a great work ethic on and off the court is hard to beat and Willie is just that as she strives to be the best she can be
