2014 Watch List-Taylor Lewis

Taylor Lewis is one of those players you may not have heard about however keep your eyes and ears open because this 2014 guard will impress you with not only what she can do on the court but off the court as well. I had a chance to catch her in action last summer with her club team Arkansas New Life, who gave DFW T-Jack all they could handle at the Big State Flava Jam, and with Lewis playing a big role. Then to show me that it wasn’t a fluke, she continued to impress at Basketball on the Bayou being among the leaders in several different categories on her club team. She continued her success when she returned to high school at Little Rock Central, leading her team in scoring steals and assists, not to mention being named MVP in their semifinal game in the McDonald’s Invitational that was held in Paragould, AR back in early December

Not only is she the team captain, she made named to the All-Conference team as well in the postseason. Even more impressive is what she does off the court and while she’s a straight A student, she’s also the Student Council Sophomore Class president. Blessed with speed, keep your eyes open as she will be playing for DFW Elite Marques Jackson squad this summer, just remember not to blink
