2022 Gold Champs Team Tulsa Pink

2022 Team Tulsa Pink

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma- 4th and 5th graders impressed me so much at Prime Time Nationals that it was certainly a joy to catch these young ladies from Team Tulsa Pink going at it against Texas’ own HGEE, not once, but twice. The talent is abundant on this team and I love catching player’s early cause this is what I do. This team is smart, plays smart and gets it when you get it at a young age, good things are in store and speaking of store, let’s see what’s on the shelf. Carrigan Hill can do a lot of things but what I liked best was her midrange and the way she attacked the basket. Kalayia Johnson also attacked and handled the ball well, plus she’s a battler, she’s also playing a year up as is Reagan McQuarters who has range, speed and quick hands

Deonie Deelouiser, Aunisty Smith and Mar’Leyshia Morris all have strong bodies and understand how to use them, believe me that’s a double plus this early and when  you can finish and rebound like they can, big things are in store. Naria Reed creates problems all over the floor as she’s active but this team has players with a lot of potential and although I was going back and forth I didn’t catch a lot of Ava Greer, Madison Douglas , Lakyn Retherford or Makayla Jones, I saw enough to know that they along with their teammates are definitely on my GPR Watch List
