Houston Elite Spring Fling starts the season

HOUSTON, Texas- What better way to start the season than with a bang and from what I saw over the weekend at the Houston Elite Spring Fling, this is going to be one of my more memorable club seasons of late. First of all, the abundance of young talent simply stood out as some very entertaining freshmen who I consider to be among the top players in the country, Alexis Morris and Chennedy Carter were on hand for DFW Elite as well as two of the top in the 2018 class, Zarielle Green and Madison Williams, also with DFW and I’ve spoken about them numerous times but there were many others spread among the numerous teams that were on hand

Houston Elite had numerous players on three different teams that simply got after it. Paris Netherly, another of the top 2018 players in the country is going to be huge and she is making the adjustment with the big girls rather easily however when you have veterans like Joi Simmons, Adriianna Jackson and Tiffany Arceneaux to learn from, it won’t take long

The Dallas group of DFW Elite teams brought five down and did plenty of damage, love the improvement from Diamond Atchinson and Bri-Bri Mitchell, not to mention Dasia Terrell but keep your ears open on many others including Lauren Davenport and DD Nelson, more on their squads next week after the March Fest. Plenty of talent on multiple DFW Houston teams as well, Makeedah Collins, Kyja Blake, Rexesha Hollis and a 2019 that’s going to blow you away, Briaunna Johnson

Emer Nichols is one of the Houston Crossover’s new additions, she’s going to pay dividends before it’s all said and done with their talented group of players like DD Evans and Aaliyah Austin who brought plenty of heat. Speaking of heat, Triple D means more than digits as a healthy Martina Rawls and Mia Hayes, plus an energetic Alex Simmons, another bright young star are ready for anything

Erika Sydney put on a shooting exhibition for the Houston Insiders, Monet Jones is one of the state’s top 2018 players and she showed it with the Houstonians and add Alex Castillo to that 2018 list as well for West Houston Elite who have an abundance of young talent at every position including the five where Ilya Babineaux is a name you better know. San Antonio Finest also brought a talented squad to the event, first look at 2019 Corina Carter definitely won’t be my last

This was just a brief rundown on the event, I’ll bring you a Tip Sheet of a few players this week so we’re about to get the ball rolling as my staff is ready for the journey
