’23 All Eyez On Me 2027 Standouts

I’m closing out the 2024 #AllEyezOnMe with players heading into high school and one more time, EVERY PLAYER IN ATTENDANCE was evaluated please always remember you have tons of people giving advice who are clueless about what they’re saying, please remember this about me

My daughter had over 100 D1 offers alone, over a dozen before she entered high school, her first in the 6th grade and she won a National Championship with Texas A&M and with over 9 years in the WNBA, she also won a championship last season with the Las Vegas Aces

As a club coach, I was instrumental in helping over 100 players achieve their dreams of playing at the next level by placing them in the right situations, they did the real work in front of college coaches

As a basketball scout/evaluator, I have put thousands of girls on the map who nobody knew about because I look at a variety of players, and through my recruiting service I have helped hundreds of players, many of who had absolutely nothing, go on to the next level so always remember, I am a REAL EVALUATOR and #ThereIsNoMe period

Here ya go

Rachel Torres (Vista Ridge)

Torres is just shy of “the magic number” which is 6’0 and why is it magic? Because college coaches at a variety of levels contact me about players that size yet she plays taller than her listed 5’10 which is always a positive. She battles for rebounds off the rim, on both ends of the court and she plays solid defense, both inside and outside the paint. She’s athletic and plays the passing lane, even handled the ball afterward yet she scored off the dribble and finished strongly after contact

Alli Maley ( Rouse)

Maley keeps getting better on a daily basis and each time I catch her, she’s showing something different. She’s long and athletic, remember that is the base and she’s also over the magic number at 6’1. Her timing to block shots, well alter, and deflect as well was nice, as was her defense but she goes after everything off the rim, at times relentlessly. Her hands and footwork are ahead of her years, she even showed she scored on the block with the banker

Audrey Richardson ( Liberty Hill)

Richardson is another player I’ve seen a lot of this past month and let me say this, her ceiling has no roof. I love her upside because her turnaround jumper is going to create some problems for defenders because she is 6’0, MAGIC, and is “long and athletic” BASE so watching her handle the ball and go baseline to score was one thing, her “hands and footwork” to score around the basket was another. She also has good timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots

Avery Demars (Liberty Hill)

Demars plays within herself and her shot selection is very good as she forces nothing, well that’s not true, she forces turnovers on defense but let me flip back. She attacks the basket from multiple angles, with either hand and showed solid body control on her finishes. She has good vision, in the set as well as in the transition in fact her crossover in the open court was nice, plus she does a good job creating her shot. She also showed she could “catch and shoot” and I love yelling RED

Brylee Craddick (Salado)

Craddics falls into one of those “never takes a play-off” types of players and her blue-collar work ethic didn’t go unnoticed. She actually playing defense, let me drop the #THROWBACK hashtag for that alone. Her “on the ball pressure” as well as comprehending how to make the defender pick up their dribble was nice but she was also steady on offense, getting hers in the flow and her scoring off the dribble as well as creating her shot was nice

Crislyn Anthony (Jarrell)

Anthony not only played solid defense in both the 1 on 1 drills but did the same thing in the games and watching her apply baseline-to-baseline pressure over and over was nice, and so was her using her hands to come away with steals. She understands something very important and that’s positioning as it helped her to outrebound taller players, she scored off the dribble and dropped the jumper, catch and shoot included

Destiny Williams Beaumont Westbrook)

Williams already understands how to use her athleticism to her advantage on both ends and the talented guard has something else which will come in handy from here on, her UPS. She elevates on her jumper, the pull-up in transition was very nice, she elevates around the basket, and solid body control helps her finish after contact. Her on-the-ball defense was also a big plus and she played the passing lane

Ja’Myah Crout (Beaumont United)

Crout gets the cover because “that spin made me dizzy” and watching her do it again and again told me a lot because she does it effortlessly in the flow. She’s a long and athletic guard, that’s also the base, that can be dazzling handling the ball. Her crossover in the set as well as in transition coupled with her jumper will make her hard to defend, scary upside

Makayla French (Rouse)

French smoothly set the defender up using a deceptive first step to attack the basket off the dribble and she did it both in the 1 on 1 drill as well as in the games but she looked even better in this setting, caught her earlier for a minute without a roster tey from her on, I know exactly she is. She has nice body control and was another player I saw that understood how to create contact. Her jumper was nice as she created it under pressure

Peyton Griffin (Round Rock)

Griffin has OD circled numerous times and that stands for off the dribble and since she attacked in a variety of ways, yes her deceptive first step coupled with a slight HEZ, kept the defender leaning. She has good body control and finished after the lick but her ballhandling in transition was nice and was her court vision both in the open court, as well as in the set

Lexi Glenn (Liberty Hill)

Glenn was another young player getting ready to enter high school that could “catch and shoot” it which has become somewhat of a lost art yet she drew several pictures for me. She created her shot under pressure to not only drop the jumper but drop while being defended, she also attacked the basket strongly and finished after contact

Ariana Sloan (Pflugerville)

Sloan falls into another category I love to hashtag and that’s #sizedontmatter and why do I hashtag it, well when you can play it ties in together. She was feisty on defense off the top and her not backing down or backing away from a challenge immediately stood out as her tenacious defense had me sweating just watching. Other than her full court “on the ball” pressure, she also did a good job handling the ball and seeing the floor, plus she scored off the dribble

Katelyn Olds (Liberty Hill)

Olds did a little bit of everything well, first of all, she rebounded on both ends and handled the ball in the open court afterward. She also played solid “on the ball” defense, came away with steals, and played the passing lane over and over, She showed me she could score in the – on-1 drill, that’s why I love seeing it, but she also showed she could she attack and finish strongly in the games
