’23 All Eyez On Me 2026 Standouts

One more time, I speak about PROGRESSION and in this group, I have seen a lot of that from those I already have seen many multiple times but the bright new faces always make me smile so here ya go

Addison Myers (Stony Point)

Myers does a good job of not creating her shot but doing it under pressure. She scored off the dribble during the 1 on1 drill yet her deceptive first step allowed her to get by the defender in the games and when you factor in her body control, she did a good job finishing after contact. Back to her creating, the pull-up jumper both in the set as well as in transition was nicer

Alexius Smith (Shoemaker)

Smith was another one of the athletic guards at camp that used her athleticism well on both ends. She immediately grabbed my attention during the drill with her quick hands yet once the games started, her on-the-ball pressure baseline to baseline was smothering and that, along with her hands helped create turnovers. She also attacked the basket and finished strongly

Beth Holt (Round Rock)

Holt is my “nuts and BOLTS” type of player as she understands simple things that turn out to be huge, such as positioning to rebound, which she did on both ends but she also used her frame inside the paint to score, after contact included, sometimes with players hanging on her so that speaks volumes about her strength. She also did a good job defending inside

Caeleigh Rogers (Cedar Park)

Rogers continues to elevate her game and shows me something new each time I see her. I remember saying she will be a future Top 100 player in Texas, she’s on her way because she’s so focused and plays so well under pressure yet her explosiveness had me going as she attacked however she wanted. Her body control was solid, and so was her jumper yet watching her “dive on the floor” gets the #THROWBACK hashtag, plus her timing to block shots stood out

Ella Justice (Georgetown)

Justice was a pleasant surprise because she just made things happen that may not be seen by a novice but when players “play within themselves” and understand “how to get theirs in the flow” that’s huge in the team concept but let’s not get it twisted. Her defense was solid, and so was her jumper which she knocked down while being defended and watching her score off the dribble, attacking with either hand was also nice

Kaylee Britten (Bridge City)

Britten is a #THROWBACK type of PG and her being “heady” and comprehending the simple things was nice and refreshing as she left a lasting first impression, well first good look, I missed her because I didn’t have a roster but nevertheless her court vision and ballhandling under pressure was very nice, so was her body control on her finishes, after contact included but she also showed she could drop the jumper, in the set as well as in transition

Maddie Peiffer (Georgetown)

Peiffer surprise me a few weeks ago when I caught her, in fact, I didn’t recognize her as she has grown and gotten stronger. Well she doesn’t let up on either end, being feisty on defense is always good, she applied solid on-the-ball pressure and came away with some steals. She also attacked the basket not only from the wing, but the baseline and even showed the FLOTA yet her pull-up jumper created some problems as knocked it down with ease

Nadia Adeleke (Vista Ridge)

Adeleke is so explosive off the dribble and watching her go full speed coast to coast attacking the basket and still showing solid body control on her finishes had me smiling. She also did a good job off the dribble in the set, plus the jumper while being defended was nice. She battled for rebounds, on both ends, applied on-the-ball pressure, and played the passing lane

Nadine Adeleke (Vista Ridge)

Adeleke showed the crossover so many times I kept thinking about John Edwards as it was at times hypnotizing to the defender as she left them stranding a few times. She scored off the dribble, defying gravity a few times, and finished after contact but she also showed the stop-and-pop jumper in transition plus she nailed the midrange in the set. Her defense was also solid

Sharmonique Williams (Elgin)

Williams came out on fire during the drill, her defense was among the best to get that portion of the Showcase going yet she showed she could attack the basket from multiple angles and finish strongly after contact. Her court vision, both in the set as well as off the dribble was nice, as was her decision-making. Her pull-up jumper was also solid

Summer Sodek (Flatonia)

Sodek has also gotten stronger, this enabled her to take the punishment she received for attacking the basket off the dribble. She patiently sets the defender up to go by them, that deceptive dribble and slight HEZ played a part in it, but her court vision and crisp passes in traffic have also taken off. I already knew she could shoot, her midrange was consistent and her long-range has gotten deeper
