2025 Girlz Got Game Tip Sheet

I do the rankings for Prep Girlz Hoops Texas, I don’t put much into numbers yet if didn’t do it, one of those wanna be slicksters would have jumped on it and manipulated the system, you may not get what I say now but many of you will so the important thing once again is to play in front of someone that is actually paying attention to what you are doing, keep working on elevating your game and don’t get caught up in nonsense but with that being said, I did catch some players that will be on that initial 2025 Watch List, I’m dropping 20 to start and by the time I’m finished it will be well over 100 so here ya go and thanks for attending

HOPE EDWARDS

Hope Edwards-had seen her before yet this is why I stress turning in rosters because I had absolutely nothing in database until now. She sets defenders up nicely, her ability to knock down jumpers gives her an advantage because she can attack and finish with contact if they give her an inch but one other important thing, she understands how to create contact which is huge heading into HS and it makes her an “and one” waiting to happen

Azalea Alaniz-two big things she showed me, one was rebounding and doing it against taller players which means she understands positioning and two, her ability to create her shot, also against taller players and knocking the jumper down with a hand in your face is always good, she performed in session 2 against older players

Evie Bruce-created her shot to attack the basket, she finished after contact, or to show the pull-up jumper, release is smooth and quick, also has nice form on the jumper and she did a good job mixing both up

Angela Carroll-she already has a college-ready body and her size is there as well yet I love how she just continues to add more to her game. Yeah she battles for rebounds, she finishes with players climbing on her, figuratively speaking, well literally at times but she’s strong, showed some powerful blocks and rebounded on both ends

Reece Cobur-heady player, understands how to score inn the flow as well as react on defense. Saw the floor well, made solid passes and knocked down some shots, good upside

Jermarrianna Daniel-when you have a solid first step, be it deceptive or explosive, the main thing is to get the defender leaning or off balance and she does both and showed it in the 1 on 1 drill, as well as the games but she also has a nice pull-up jumper

Alaysia Gude-can turn it on at the blink of an eye, one of the most explosive players at the camp and with her stride, she gets to the rim quickly and sometimes effortlessly but her finishes with either hand as well as her range which looks pretty good, she creates her shot well, oh let me not leave out she sees the floor and plays the passing lane

Andrea Gonzalez-performed in session 2 , immediately impressed me in the 1 on 1 drill on both ends but watching her attack in the games, she goes baseline quite well, and finishes yet she also plays the passing lane and did a good job seeing the floor

Janea Hood-watching the 1 on 1 drill gives me a great insight on players abilities and she shined on both ends. She understands how to get where she needs to be and which shot to use but on the flip, she did a good job on the defensive end as well

Solange Loadholt-used her athleticism well, on both ends of the court. She attacked strongly from everywhere during the games and showed nice body control on her finishes bit she also showed the stop and pop jumper in transition, that ain’t easy to do, so throw in she defended well and has good upside

Natalie Maldonado-understands the game, switched nicely on the defensive end and knocked down some outside shot but she also attacked and scored as well as attacked and dished off the dribble, good upside

Natalie Dominguez-very nice first step, sort of a slight HEZ, hesitation, to set the defender up for her to attack and she finished strongly in both the games and 1 on 1 drills

Abby Norris-watching young players understanding how to create their shots before high school is big with me, it shows they’ve been comprehending certain things and she comprehends a lot, on both ends but getting her shot off under pressure was a very good sign, so was her playing the passing lane

Jade Perez– the 1 on 1 drill enabled many players to show their offensive skills off in front of me and not only did I enjoy her showing me the jumper, she attacked and finished quite well but her B/C, body control, definitely set it off for me because that will create contact, which is big

Sadie Sanchez-I love seeing new players that just leave lasting impressions and she left several by showing out in the 1 on 1 drill and doing the same in the games. She takes defender however she wants, she has a crossover, she handles the ball under pressure in the open court, she scores, what did I write, at will, and when you see the step back….

Niyah Waters-she also left a lasting first impression a few weeks ago so adding her to The Watch List was a done deal. She’s long and athletic, she’s nowhere near the player she will be which is scary so for me to call her a #D1LOck is only a formality because she is showing signs of being huge. She’s long and athletic, scores off the dribble, the mid to long range or even defying gravity
