2027 Girls Jr Phenoms Top Performers

The freshmen are coming and they are coming eager to learn and take their games to another level. High school ball is a transition, some make the adjustment quicker than others while some who started slowly wind up being ahead of those who took off. I love watching “on the court” progression so my advice to you is to keep working and trust me when I give advice you should take, not because I have a daughter playing in the WNBA, that has nothing to do with it but my years of experience helping players not only get on the map but get to the next level, when many had absolutely nothing speaks for itself so no one knows any more than I do about this stuff, which is RELEVANT and here’s I caught from the 2027 group

Aleah Hill

Hill mixed it up nicely on the offensive end and based on what I saw, she will continue to climb up the HILL. She’s strong and understands how to use her body and watching her score off the dribble and finish after contact along with dropping the jumper was nice, yet so was her court vision, including the “no-look”. She played the passing lane, showed good timing, and has a good upside

Amariana Silvestre

Silvestre handled the ball with ease under pressure and watching her maneuver out of traps and double teams was nice but was was her seeing the floor and making good decisions on which teammate to hit. She does a good job creating her shot and she dropped it from outside yet her deceptive first step was also nice as it helped her get by the defender to score off the dribble

Autumn Cason

Cason not only attacked strongly off the dribble but she finished using very good body control after the lick. She also showed she could create contact while attacking but watching her drop the pull-up jumper from mid to long-range in the set was nice ad she also showed she could handle the ball in transition and drop the stop and pop

Gracelyn Lota

Lota showed me a lot but let me start with her being a long and athletic guard that understands how to use her athleticism on both ends. She applied “on the ball” pressure, baseline to baseline consistently yet she showed quick hands to come away with steals. She has a nice first step and used a slight HEZ to get the defender to lean and her body control was also nice as it helped her finish off balance

Jhalin Issac

Isaac is also “long and athletic” and remember that is the base. She plays taller than her listed height which is always a good thing yet watching her rebound and handle the ball afterward was nice but so was her doing it in the set. She attacked the basket strongly from multiple angles and finished strongly, after the lick, but she also showed she could score from outside

Shayen Simac

Simac not only handled the ball under pressure, but she also saw the floor while being pressured, and her first step is already creating problems as she is showing signs of explosiveness off the dribble. Her body control is solid and she finishes after contact yet her ability to not only create her shot, but also under pressure, and knocks it down with a hand in her face speaks volumes about her upside

Jordyn-Lynn McGuirk

McGuirk rebounded and went coast to coast to score a few times but she also saw the floor both in the set and from the other side of midcourt. She also showed good court vision in the halfcourt offense watching her take the defender off the dribble however she wanted was nice, so was her body control, and just for fun, she used the EURO effectively

Lily Carr

Carr did a good job driving as I use a little “play on words” but her play on the court grabbed my attention immediately with her defense and intensity. She applied solid on-the-ball pressure in the open court as well as in the set yet on the flip, she attacked the basket powerfully and finished the same way, after contact. She also showed she could drop the mid to long-range

Na’leiyah Duncan

Duncan is heady, she plays within herself and she also understands how to get hers in the flow yet here’s something else, she makes things happen. Whether it was coming up with a steal or rebound at the right time, or just knocking down a shot, she was ready. I hashtag #sizedontmatterwhen players can play, she can play and her court vision as well as creating for herself as well as her teammates stood out

Prisha Kolhe

Kohle shot the ball well and showed a great comprehension of doing small things that can turn out to be big. She rebounded and ran to the wing to receive the ball back and drop it or she showed she could shoot it off the screen. Her attacking the basket was a plus as it helped keep the defender guessing yet her pull-up jumper in transition was also effective and so was her defense

Tylee Benton

Benton understands positioning and that helped her not only outrebound taller players but score on putbacks against them. She’s strong and understands how to use her body to score around the basket yet her power in the paint wasn’t the only thing. She played the passing lane and handled the ball afterward, she also showed she could score off the dribble as well as dropping the jumper from outside
