2022 TJ Showcase Top Performers day 1

PEYTON HOLMES

I’m dropping a Top Performer list for both days, plus whatever pops into my head, everything will be right here, providing I had ROSTERS so without further ADO

Avari Berry (Austin Elite RFW) 2023– Tip Sheet waiting to happen as one more time, she is one of, if not the bset player, every time she steps on the court and since she is a COMBO that can score in droves, however you want it, she is also a PG that MAKES THOSE AROUND HER BETTER

Ashton Reynolds (SETX Elite) 2023 happy to catch back with her, I knew she was going to be pretty darn good yet she has exceeded what I predicted. Pull-up jumper as well as of f the dribble are hard to handle pkus she applies heat on the defensive end

Bailee Baker (CE Regional) 2023– just went into “the zone” as in she was virtually unstoppable durung the stretch and whether is multiple long balls, short pullups or even scoring off the dribble, she got it done plus she saw the floor

Aubrey Marjason (Lone Star Magic) 2023– long and athletic is and will always be the base and since she’s also tall, several problems are created and I’m not just talking about her defense, rebounding and blocking shots included, she can score off the dribble as well as around th basket, with ease

Shacoria Hill (Fort Worth Lady Hornets) 2023– long and athletic is still the base, yeah I enjoyed her scoring from the wing attacking the rim and finshing with contact but watching her play the passing lane JUST DID IT for me as well as her “on the ball” defense

Peyton Holmes (Upside) 2023– long and athletic was abundant b ut she had one of the most impressive first steps at the event and when you understand how to set the defender up and blow by thm plus you can drop it from outside, that’s a lot to handle if you’re defending her

JANIYA DAVIS

Janiya Davis (MP Elite) 2023– attacked the basket relentlessly and finished numerous times after contact yet she also has good body control and could drop the stop and pop from midrange. Her ability to create her shot was nice, dropped it fromlong and she did a good job on the defensive end

Avery Allmer (CE Elite 2024)– watching her rebound and go coast to coast numerous times grabbed my attention but when she played the passing lane, I was glued on her every movement. She has UPS, good timing to block shotts as well as rebound but she alsohas very good upside

Jena Warden (SETX White) 2025– talk about taking their game to another leveel, I think I called her a #D1Lock in the 5th or 6th grade when she was playing with the HS squad yet I was right and her pull-up jumper in traffic is one of the best I’ve seen all season, I’m serious, she creates her shot so well and knocks down from wherever she wants

Ciara Miles (Lady Drive Nation CTX) 2025– another jump in her ability, last season she was a terror in the paint because of her strength and athleticism but add the midrange as well as attacking and finishing strongly with either hand. She rebounds, on both ends, scores on putabcaks and runs the floor

Hope Edwards (Phoenix 2025) 2025 her explosiveness off the dribble was always there, so were her acrobatic finsishes yet she has found ways to do that even better because she’s stronger and contact is irrelevant but she has other tools like that mid to long-range as well as solid court vision, yeah the NO-LOOK was nasty
