2020 PassThaBall #Next100 pt 1 2025

I wanted to stop the foolishness that circulates around social media usually started by fools who want to be relevant yet have done nothing but spread misinformation and nonsense on their capabilities and one thing I have always done and will always do is kept it real. When I’m compensated to cover an event such as an Individual Showcase, I make it a point to try and get as much on as many players as possible and using simple tools such as search bars or search engines, you would know over the years no one has put out as much on as many as I have and not just the “can’t miss” players because I’m interested in finding payers capable of playing somewhere at the next level so with that being said, I’m breaking the event into multiple stories, the 2025 group here and the others coming next

KEZIAH LOFTON

Keziah Lofton-5’11 PG (Lady Jets)

Lofton already has multiple D1 offers on the table including #BCS which comes as no surprise to me because I said it would happen a couple of years ago. She’s long and athletic, glides over defenders, and scores multiple ways including the mid to long as well as off the dribble yet her poise and confidence not to mention her unselfishness stands out even more but as good she is, more is coming, trust me because her size, she’s long and athletic, she will be one of the top recruits in the country

Taylor Barnes-5’9 F (Ashley Robinson Lady Vols)

Barnes created some problems immediately, after all, she’s long and athletic which is the base I use, and watching her go coast to coast with the ball effortlessly for layups after a rebound or doing it after playing the passing lane, she showed me even more with the midrange as well as the crossover but she creates her shot under pressure and has good timing on defense for blocking shots. She has some impressive tools right now, I can imagine what’s coming

Brandie Harrod-5’9 G (Unity)

Harrod is another player that falls into that long and athletic category and watching her attack the rim strongly with long strides tells me she “gets it” and when you can create and take your man, under control and finish strongly, especially after the lick, you’re on to something so let me add her reacting to certain things and situations, like switching on defense and playing the passing lane are all good signs

Lyllian Walton-5’4 G (TNBA)

Walton is a heady guard that can get hers in the flow or just explode offensively because she thinks the game and lets it come to her and she can get on a roll quickly. She creates her shot nicely and rebounds well on both ends, over taller players plus she handles the ball under pressure but another thing that continues to stand out is her clutch shooting

Emerie Adam-5’9 F (Illusion)

Adam has a nice mix going because she handles the ball well under pressure and she can see the floor which translates into she can make the pass while dribbling yet she also can create her shot from the midrange a nice smooth pull-up jumper and she also does a good job attacking the rim multiple ways and finishing strongly

Kyra McCurtain-5’8 F (Oklahoma Aces)

McCurtain is a heady guard that plays within herself and picks her moments nicely because she can create her shot off the dribble and hit the midrange from various spots with a nice pull-up jumper

HOPE BUMP

Hope Bump-5’8 G (Team Tulsa)

Bump has the right name because she can take the bump and finish from the outside or take it off the dribble attacking the rim yet she does a good job at not only creating her shot but handling the ball and seeing the floor which makes her a multiple threat offensively. Throw in her defense and rebounding, as well as not minding the physicality, and OMG

Jada Smith-F (Della Lamb)

Smith is long and athletic so attacking the rim is a given more time than not and she attacks with confidence while finishing after the lick but she also does a good job at creating her shot, the jumper is fluid and consistent

Gentry Wilmot-5’4 PG (Oklahoma Aces)

Wilmot understands that the game starts at the one so by being heady and controlling the tempo, she’s showing she can run a team yet she also handles the ball well under pressure and sees the floor, two very important things, and her passes are crisp and consistent plus she can create her shot from numerous spots

Morgan Bradley-5’7 G/F (Mavs Elite 2025)

Bradley is strong and has a strong body but importantly, she understands how to use it so watching her do some legitimate SF stuff like power defenders in the paint as well as showing guard skills, take defenders either way off the dribble, and showing the pull-up jumper and let me not leave out-rebounding opponents on both ends of the court

Brianna Jones-5’4 PG (Lady Lions)

Jones can score, she understands how to create her shot, mid to long-range and I also added DEEP which is somewhere close to NBA range. She has a very quick release as well as a “scorers mentality” but she also has one of the best “stop and pop” jumpers I’ve seen all season, any class and she uses her athleticism nicely to attack the rim or just take the pull-up but throw in she plays the passing lane very well

Lailah Hatcher-5’5 G (Della Running Angels)

Hatcher can create her shot and is athletic which enables her to either take the jumper or take defenders off the dribble but she has good range and understands when to mix it up but her defense, including playing the passing lane were definitely bright spots

MCKENZIE MATHURIN

McKenzie Mathurin-5’9 G (Oklahoma Swift)

Mathurin has size and body right now that college coaches love and she can finish so well off the dribble after contact which shows strength so with a solid pull-up jumper, college coaches love that too, look at it pictured above, and the ability to create her shot has her in a great position, especially when you add she loves to play defense

T’ionna Johnson-5’3 G (Huskies)

Johnson creates her shot, that’s good but she outrebounds taller players and finishes over them this is no exaggeration, and seeing her do it over and over showed her desire which you can’t teach

Seleh Harmon-5’8 G (Trae Young Elite 2025)

Harmon creates her shot very well and watching her not only take defenders off the dribble but pass while she’s doing it are good signs at this stage because seeing the floor gives you options and keeps the defense honest but her midrange is also created off the dribble, it’s smooth and consistent but when you add the long-range…

Ava Casper-5’5 G (PWP)

Casper creates her shot and uses it to show a nice pull-up jumper from midrange as well as attacking the basket but she also does well in the open court, where she handles the ball well under pressure and showed a nice hesitation to go by defenders

Haniya Geretta-5’7 G (Unity)

Geretta has made two of my Tip Sheets in less than a month, well three and she has so much going for her starting with she goes hard on both ends, she rebounds strongly, she defends baseline to baseline or in the halfcourt but her ability to create off the dribble which leads to taking defenders off the dribble to see her finish with power or she can hit the pull-up jumper with a hand in her face

Raylen Kernell-5’3 G (Oklahoma Aces)

Kernell falls into one of my many saying “size don’t matter when you can play” and she not only creates her shot, she has good form with a nice release and she understands how to not only shoot the midrange or attack the rim

BLYTHE CRAWLEY

Blythe Crawley-5’6 G (Oklahoma Express)

Crawley not only has very good basketball instincts, she has a pull-up jumper that is hard to deal with, and watching her set defenders up to create her shot, she can go straight up or use a slight fade away but it’s accurate so the mid to long-range is already there, she also can attack from multiple angles and finish strongly

Anonda Ford-5’9 F (Della Lamb Running Angels)

Ford attacks the rim strongly and finishes the same way because she’s strong, that translates to the defensive end where she can man-up and she can also rebound on both ends of the court but flipping back to the offensive end, she understands how to create her shot

Janiyah Williams-5’7 G (Arkansas Banshees)

Williams has made one of my Tip Sheets before so I already knew she was athletic and could get to the rim but her progression is what I was looking for and watching her create her shot under pressure and elevate over defenders for a consistent jumper had me smiling. She defends and is fearless, applies heat on defense, and rebounds strongly, on both ends

Laynee Stanley-5’11 P (Trae Young Elite Platinum)

Stanley has a good body, she also has size so quite naturally you would expect she could rebound well, she can but she also can create her shot and shoot the midrange, on a pull-up jumper which is fluid. She’s long and athletic, you know what that means, that’s the base and her upside is scary when you add what she already can do

Talia Vann-6’2 P (Lady Jets)

Vann is long and athletic, she creates her shot and can attack or shoot the pull-up jumper but I wrote her upside was “through the roof” because, with her size, athleticism, and what she’s doing now, all bets are off. She finishes strong, after contact, she rebounds on both ends, got several put-backs and she has good timing for blocks

Paige Langley-5’6 G

Langley has a good frame combined with strength and she knows how to use it as she attacks relentlessly off the dribble, finishes strongly but she also can create the pull-up jumper which is consistent. She plays good “in your face defense” as well as handles the ball and sees the floor well

OLIVIA WATKINS

Olivia Watkins-5’11 F (Trae Young Elite Platinum 2025)

Watkins has a lot to choose from right now but her athleticism is through the roof and her body control enables her to finish acrobatically. She does a good job taking defenders with either hand as well as a terror on the offensive boards as she battles for rebounds and gets numerous putbacks but she also does a good job defending

Mataya Hall-5’7 G (Cy Fair Elite)

Hall creates her shot and showed she could use her body to attack and finish powerfully yet she also rebounds the same way, with authority and watching her understand how to ignite the break and run the floor was nice but she also could shoot the jumper

Spirit Sheriiff-5’3 G (Ashley Robinson Lady Vols)

Sheriff is a heady guard that can control the tempo but she’s also fast, with the ball, and her ability to make the pass going full speed is big but her ballhandling and speed also enable her to take defenders to the rim or shoot the jumper

Skylar Durley-5’9 F (Lady Vols)

Durley went #THROWBACK and showed the drop step but she has a strong body, can finish with players hanging on her but she also has “ups” and scores many ways including mid to long-range or attacking the basket, plus she sees the floor

Isabella Gutierrez-5’2 PG (Oklahoma Aces)

Gutierrez also falls into that “size don’t matter” category because she can play and first of all, she’s heady, she makes plays, she sees the floor ad she handles the ball under pressure but she can also attack the rim as well as defend

Annie Ferguson-5’10 G/F (HYPE)

Ferguson has good size and a good skill set because she understands how to use her body, she can create her shot for the pull-up jumper or attack the rim and finish but she also rebounds well and defends yet she also has some very good upside to go with all of that

CEDRAIAH PRESTON

Cedraiah Peterson-5’11 PF (Ashley Robinson Lady Vols)

Peterson was good in the skills session but she was great in the games and she’s another player that showed the drop step which by itself is hard to handle because she’s strong and powerful and watching her work inside the way she did was very impressive but she can also create her shot, a nice pull-up jumper and attack the basket

Rosalyn Tillis

Tillis attacks the rim strongly and finishes after contact. She defends baseline to baseline, plays the passing lane, and can create her shot while being tightly guarded and let me add she’s long and athletic, that’s still the base

Camille Mitchell

Mitchell is athletic and does a good job rebounding and creating her shot. She attacks well after creating it and she finishes strongly as she stays with it while taking the lick

Kamoree Daniels

Daniels creates her shot well, she’s long and athletic, plays the passing lane, and also has good timing to block shots. She also rebounds and runs the floor
