UNSIGNED ’21 Lanie Douget comes up huge

The San Antonio Islanders became one of my “must-see” teams years ago after catching them at a shoe tournament I no longer attend and as those players from that era have all graduated from college, I can always count on the team having next-level talent because in this era, playing smart, being skilled and playing within yourself will always keep me glued so watching Lanie Douget play the passing lane toward the end of a game and coming up with a steal and game-winning basket just did it for me

Yeah I get excited but I also emphasize certain things and not only did Douget come up huge in their come from behind victory, she also showed me throughout the event she could pass, score, off the dribble as well as drop the mid to long range, and handle the ball well under pressure. When you add the solid defense she showed, she definitely falls into the UNDER THE RADAR category
