The Blueprint brings out some of the Finest

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The Blueprint gave me another look at several teams and players that I hadn’t seen or hadn’t seen lately and the San Antonio Finest organization pulled it off without a hitch because games were on time and college coaches were there all three days to observe the talent, no matter what site because like I always say, talent is everywhere, provided you know what you’re looking at, and with a state as big as Texas, several sleepers were uncovered. I’ll be doing bits and pieces on The Blueprint, starting off today with a Tip Sheet on some of the top performers I had a chance to personally see. The San Antonio Finest organization itself has a list of not just next level players but many that will go beyond that.

Chelsea Dungee showed me what all the buzz was about back in March when I covered the She’s Ballin event ran by the Finest. She’s simply a beast and can take over a game on either end. Amber Ramirez has given me highlights galore, some have been captured on video and I remember tweeting she had done everything but drop double digit threes in a game, well she accomplished that feat during The Blueprint. Kiana Williams just keeps getting better, she and Ramirez are high school teammates and may make a run at a state title next season while Desiree Caldwell is about to enter high school and already has been regarded as one of the payers in her class by many, I think I said something like she was a Top 100 lock when she was in the 5th grade and as usual.

Those players are definitely in the mix for MDAA honors and are BCS locks but the list of talented players throughout the organization is mind boggling and as I go over the rosters and notes, I just love the progression I’m seeing from Caroline Hogue and Deja Mason on Blue along with Nalyssa Smith and Vaness Oyola on Diamond.  2019 Corina Carter and 2018 Toni Cuellar also have elevated their games since I saw them earlier this season and since they still have a little time left before high school, there is no telling how they’ll finish but they have legitimized the fact that they have the ability to play somewhere

Stay tuned for more and enjoy the Ramirez video. Also note how her teammates recognized she was hot and got her the ball, this is a sign of being basketball players and not just playing basketball
