Sparks #AllEyesOnShe 8th Grade Division
One more time #talentiseverywhere if you know what you’re looking at and I’ve been saying that for almost 20 years yet you have to be a REAL EVALUATOR to comprehend what you’re seeing so there is plenty of upside on this squad
Yasmin Luz plays with so much intensity on both ends that she was able to help change the momentum of games several times. She dives for loose balls on the floor, and she battles for rebounds but she also showed she could defend as well as score off the dribble
Chloe Louk is”long and athletic”, which is and always will be the base, and showed she could score around the basket as well as play solid interior defense. She rebounded, on both ends, has good timing, and has a lot of potential
Ember Cornhoff scored off the dribble, her deceptive first step played a part in that and she showed she could finish using nice body control after contact
Piper Pons also showed she could attack the basket from multiple angles, she also did a good job defensively
Olivia Luther was another player who understood how to take the defender off the dribble yet her pull-up jumper gave her options
Lucia Durham created her shot while being defended and dropped it with a hand in her face but she also showed she “catch and shoot” it
