SA Finest proves to be just that at #SBEX

14 SBEX Ramirez

AMBER RAMIREZ

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- She’s Ballin’ Extravaganza had tons of talent and the host team, San Antonio Finest, was second to none. The addition of Chelsea Dungee to go along with Amber Ramirez on their Blue team  gives them two of the nation’s top sophomores; both are in the running for MDAA and other honors as well as BCS schools beating down their doors.  Deja Mason and Caroline Hogue are a couple of junior posts that were impressive in the middle while Moriah Cresswell brought plenty of energy on both ends and Amber Vidal showed she could knock the long one down.  Keep in mind freshman sensation Kianna Williams was out with a minor injury and once she gets back, who knows how good this team will wind up being .

14 SBEX Caldwell

DESIREE CALDWELL

On the Future squad, I only saw a glimpse of them a couple of weeks ago however they’re loaded with talented players including Corina Carter. I haven’t seen the Red, White or Gold so I’ll try to catch them during the season as well but I did see the Diamond squad and although some are on the verge of being priceless gems, they all are past the raw stage. Desiree Caldwell hasn’t entered HS yet however she has a very, very bright future ahead and after watching her sister reach the highest of heights in yesterday’s MDAA game, she too could be doing same thing in 2018
