Phoenix 2028 Growing Stronger #AllEyesOnShe

I’ve been watching the Phoenix organization for years and I always could count on seeing talented players I may not or would not see, yes Texas is a big state and contrary to rumors, I haven’t been cloned so here are some of the standouts from the event

Kamryn Fox-5’9 is a future PGH Texas Top 100 player and yeah, I know she can drain it from deep yet there’s so much more to her game. She can create separation and drop the midrange, she attacks and finishes after contact, has good court vision plus defends, and plays the passing lane. The icing on the cake for me was her diving for loose balls on the floor

Lily Rich-5’5 gave me a glimpse of what’s coming as she created her shot to score off the dribble while showing solid body control on her finishes. She also knocked the pull-up jumper while being defended

Sydney Wigley-6’1 is moving better and although she isn’t 100%, she’s showing signs of creating some problems, on both ends. She stands above “the magic number” and she’s “long and athletic” but watching her score from the wing and around the basket was nice, and so was her rebounding and defense

Lainey Dixon-6’2 also stands above the magic number and her skill set is solid as she keeps the ball high and showed me the “hands and footwork” around the basket to score. She’s also “long and athletic” with good timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots

Brooke Schilling-6’2 is you guessed it, over “the magic number” and is “long and athletic” but she was relentless at times going after rebounds and her scoring around the basket as well as on putbacks was really nice. She also showed she could face the basket and drop the short jumper or attack and finish

Karis Brown-5’10 did a good job attacking the basket from multiple angles to score, her body control helped her complete it after contact but she also showed solid court vision in the set. She did a good job rebounding, on both ends and played solid defense

Grace Dorr-5’7 showed she could open and close the DORR when she wanted to. Her deceptive first step was nice, it got the defender off balance and that enabled her to score off the dribble yet her defense created some turnover, and so did her playing the passing lane

Reese Krause-5’6 plays within herself and understands how to get hers in the flow. She is one of those players who can change the momentum from either end by making a steal or hitting a big shot yet her attacking the basket strongly to score or dish stood out
