Pass Tha Ball #Next100 Duncanville 2026 Tip Sheet

This group had players I have seen multiple times that I already labeled #D1Lock however the abundance of new faces that showed next-level potential, including the highest level in college kept me busy as I wanted to breakdown their games as much as possible

AMARI BYLES

Abby Talbot-5’4 G (Tarrant Elite)

Talbot was impressive in the drills segment and gave me a quick look at her athleticism and quickness, not to mention her desire to play defense, I use that phrase together because desire is something you can’t teach and she got after it. She also plays within herself, showed she could create her shot under pressure, did a good job handling the ball, and played within herself meaning she didn’t force plays and with her age, she has some good upside with those things that I mentioned

Addison Bjorn-5’9 PG (KC Gold 2026)

Bjorn Borg has just been replaced as my favorite Bjorn, which also includes homophones Bourne Supremacy and Born to Run, sorry Bruce but Addison dropped the mic early, she sees the floor, handles the ball, and creates her shot which is deadly from mid to long-range and watching her go completely off in the 1 on 1 segment sold me before the games began. #D1Lock is an understatement, she’s long and athletic and isn’t done, her upside is scary, trust me she is going to create huge problems

Amari Byles-6’1 F (Pro Skills 2025 National)

Byles has #D1 offers on the table already some cosigning is irrelevant because I said “her upside was unlimited” and of course, I was correct. She’s over “the magic number” and performing magic on the court as well as she takes defenders at will and is overpowering inside the paint yet she can create her shot and show the pull-up jumper. She makes things happen on both ends, in fact, she is showing signs of being able to dominate and control a game from both ends of the court, which’s huge

Aniyah Shields-5’4 G (SA Select)

Shields attacking the rim strongly while being guarded set the tone early for me. well that and creating her shot under pressure during the 1 on 1 segment but I love watching players who react well and do things instinctively because, in basketball, there are times when you have to make split-second decisions and she showed she was up for the challenge. She understands when to switch on the defense, she reads the plays on that same end but she also got after loose balls

Gianna Jordan-5’4 PG( Team Jordan)

Jordan showed she could create her shot and get to the rim when I caught her last season yet I’m always looking at progression and she attacked with both hands, from wherever, and finished strongly, with both hands. I like her poise, that’s big, she took hard hits and it didn’t bother her one bit, pressure is irrelevant, she’s smooth and understands how to get others involved, that’s big so controlling the tempo, either going full speed or running the set, she showed she could see the floor either way

Hayden Walker-5’6 G (Pro Skills)

Walker has so many notes by her name I had to go back to her picture and one thing that just jumps out at me is her defense as well as rebounding because she outworks taller players for the ball. She’s athletic and attacks the rim strongly, plus she finishes after contact, let me jump back, she plays the passing lane quite well. In the 1 on 1 segment, she defended and attacked but guess what else, she created her shot and showed a very nice pull-up jumper

Heaven Britton-5’5 G (Hines 1)

Britton brings what I love, athleticism, and under control, and when you’re a guard, that’s a solid base, and the intangibles like “thinking the game” and “getting others involved” start adding up positives. She can take defenders with a nice first step, has good speed, especially in the open court but again, she stays under control while being pressured. She also created her shot well and showed she could score from the outside but her upside is pretty good and I will definitely be looking for the progression

MaKenzie White-5’4 PG ( Young Pro)

White has RED HB in caps and I definitely got a kick out of watching her perform and seeing the back of the headband fly. She creates her shot under pressure, I write that a lot for a reason, and that’s because it’s huge but what’s even better is when you can attack and finish off the creating as well as make pinpoint passes, going full speed. She handled the ball well, in the half-court set or in the open court and showed she could defend well, baseline to baseline but she also did a good job of scoring from the outside

Mary Grant-5’7 G (KC Gold)

Grant plays for KC Gold and she was KC COLD in a number of ways and let me start off with “rebounding against taller players” and this is attributed to “positioning” well understanding how to get good positioning, as well as “desire” and there’s that word again because it’s something you can’t teach. I liked seeing her create her shot under pressure, she either attacked the rim or showed the jumper after creating her shot and she played solid defense throughout the event

Mattie Holmes-5’3 G (SETX Elite)

Holmes isn’t related to Sherlock yet she solved many mysteries on the court. I wrote REDHEAD in caps because I’m visualizing her creating her shot on the perimeter and dropping the long ball, that was nice but what got the CAPS was her ability to C/S which is my terminology for “catch and shoot” but she has other acronyms by her number, like PU, pull-up jumper and seeing her do those things, as well as attack the basket in both the 1 on 1 segment and 5 on 5 games spells trouble coming

MAYA THOMPSON

Maya Thompson-5’8 G (Pro Skills)

Thompson sold me last year when I said she had “scary upside” and I put these links in to show you I don’t make things up, I see things before they happen, well not the lottery numbers, but she’s going to be a winner because as good as she was, I’m ready to drop #D1Lock for a number of reasons including “long and athletic” plays the passing lane and can block shots but she has more growth left, on and off the court and her ability to create and knock the midrange down is a definite ” next level attraction”

Zaviyana Madison-5’4 PG (Hines 1)

Madison gave me a good look, she’s fast and athletic but she’s fast, with the ball and under control so seeing her blow by defenders and hitting teammates on the money is a good sign, so is her understanding of how to take defenders off the dribble but again, being under control is always big. She created her shot, she played within herself and she ran the team, yeah I guess when you can control the tempo, that helps but what also helps is her defense

Morgan Davis-5’6 PG (Pro Skills)

Davis has been on my radar for what seems like a lifetime, yeah she has been in several memes I’ve created yet she has also had some pics worthy of posturizing defenders yet her uncanny ability to just take games over at an early age had me drop the #D1Lock because she simply understands how to score multiple ways. She doesn’t force shots, she can score double digits in the flow and you won’t realize yet she loves pressure situations and she delivers, from mid to long-range as well as off the dribble. Her ballhandling under pressure, her seeing the floor as well as defending all have taken jumps

Jamari Milton-5’0 PG ( Strive)

Milton creates her shot under pressure, which’s good but she also understands how to set defenders up and take them on the baseline, that’s really good, and since she can handle the ball and see the floor under pressure when the defender commits she hit teammates for easy baskets or she keeps it for baskets herself. The midrange looked good, so did the long-range but watching her distribute over and over tells me a lot about her upside because when you get “it” early, things will fall into place

Jaxtyn Ratcliff-5’4 F ( Future Elite)

Ratcliff showed some important things, she could rebound against taller players, positioning, and that word desire attributed to that but she also showed she could finish against taller players. I also liked her savviness on the court, she goes after loose balls and just does things that may not show up on a stat sheet yet she finds ways to contribute. Good basketball knowledge combined with good upside has me looking forward to watching her progression on the court

Mackenzie Donald-5’4 PG (SA Finest)

Donald handles the ball well in the open court and sees the floor but what she also understands is how to control the tempo and get teammates involved. She scored in the flow as well as showed she could create her shot but watching her defend and understanding how to switch properly was good as well as her playing the passing lane

MADISON CRAWFORD ATTACKING

Madison Crawford-5’2 PG ( Ashley Robinson Lady Vols)

Crawford has that #sizedontmatter hashtag because she could play and she showed that early by creating her shot during the 1 on 1 segment and that included her spinning on a dime for a layup and while speaking of dimes, she sees the floor well and hit teammates for easy baskets but watching her attack the basket over and over combined with good ballhandling was nice

Jordan Pete-5’3 G (SA Finest)

Pete is a heady guard that plays within herself and understands how to score in the flow as well as handle the ball under pressure, see the floor and control the tempo. She also creates does a good job of creating her shot, under pressure and showed she could take defenders off the dribble and score or dish, yes she also sees the floor but she also can shoot the mid to long-range well

Chanel Shuler-6’2 P (Pro Skills)

Shuler continues to add more to her game, I wrote she was on her way to the “magic number” a year ago and now she’s 2 inches over but wait, watching her get positioning and call for the ball definitely took me away. She understands she can dominate on the inside and trust me, she’ll have #BEAST attached to her before high school. She rebounds on both ends, keeps the ball high, and finishes but she’s doing things fluidly like showing good timing during her block fest

Natalia Jordan-5’6 G (Team Jordan)

Jordan has a lot of tools that just create some issues on both ends, first of all, let me place her in the long and athletic group because her wingspan is impressive for blocking shots as well as playing that passing lane but watching her handle the ball coast to coast after the steal puts her in another category, “highlight waiting to happen” because her crisp passes on the money for assists or attacking and finishing with good body control and she rebounds well

Ava Miles-5”9 G (KC Gold)

Miles was one of many players I saw who left a lasting first impression and her being “long and athletic” and playing the passing lane caught my eye early but watching her take defenders with either hand and finishing with either hand in a variety of ways, including the floater which she has down pat. Yeah, she finishes after contact but seeing her create her shot and keep defenders guessing because that mid to long-range is solid, so is her rebounding on both ends as well as her defense

Rieyan DeSouze-5’2 PG (Adidas Lady Jets Elite-Lewis)

DeSouze was young when I caught her, she reminded me in the 3rd grade, and going back to see what I wrote, click on that link makes me smile but she has taken her game to yet another level because she always had poise, she was tough and her mental toughness is something that will take her very far because she’s a terror and she knows it. When you make those around her better, that’s when you go from good to great and she’s on the verge of that, she sets teammates up for easy baskets so well and she can score off the dribble, mid to long-range, or any way you want it

Rosanelly Pastrano- PG ( SA Select)

Pastrano impressed me with her quick hands immediately, then she showed she could create her shot under pressure so dropping the midrange a few times deserved checks, and then she just found a variety of ways to take defenders off the dribble. She finishes after contact, she sees the floor well but her ballhandling was solid and when she attacked and dished for assists, that showed me a lot
