Pass Tha Ball #Next100 Duncanville 2025 Tip Sheet
Kinsea Logan-5’11 F (Team Jordan)
Logan is long and athletic, gave me a glimpse of her abilities the previous weekend at a tournament yet this time around, she showed me even more. Saying she’s a #D1Lock would be an understatement, she has another growth spurt left off the court and on the court, I feel like she’s going to fall in that BCS level especially after watching her finish consistently off the dribble as well as on put-backs, both after contact. She can face the basket and score, rebounds strongly on both ends, and did a good job defending, both in and outside of the paint
Tieasia Todd-5’0 PG (Higher Goals)
Todd was exciting on both ends and she showed #sizedontmatter because she definitely can play. She’s fast with the ball and she’s under control, that right there means a whole lot and when you throw in she can create her shot to either attack the basket or shoot the pull-up jumper, she’s going to be tough to guard but let me not omit two other important things, she sees the floor as well as handles the ball under pressure, that’s key and does a good job on the defensive end, okay three things if you’re micromanaging
Silah Flores-5’0 PG (LADY DIAMONDS)
Flores is a heady PG that plays within herself and understands how to control the tempo, I stress over and over that doing the simple things right at an early age will lead to big things later and yes, she falls into that SDM hashtag because she does a good job creating her shot while being defended and this gives her numerous options, like attacking the rim or attacking and dishing the ball because she sees the floor and does a good job of handling the ball under pressure.
Sydney Moultrie-5’8 G (Team Jordan)
Moultrie falls into that PUNISHER category because she doesn’t have a problem with contact, giving nor taking and her pressure on defense was not unnoticed, not her battling for rebounds so I’m digging her upside on that alone yet it helps that she can finish with contact not to leave out attack the rim from the wing or right down the middle and what’s just as important is she understands how to use her body as well as get positioning, which enabled her to grab a few off the glass against taller players
Shawnta Thomas-5’6 F (CenTex Seahawks)
Thomas left a lasting impression because of a number of things, first of all, she reacts well, this enabled her to play the passing lane a few times and that’s one of my main pet peeves but she’s somewhat long and athletic and got to the rim numerous times with a deceptive first step. She also did a good job creating her shot in the half-court set, played some tough defense, and has good upside
Sidney Carr -5’4 G
Carr is a heady guard that kept the engine running, hopefully, you caught that off the court as well as her crisp passes on the court. She also does a good job of playing within herself which actually means she doesn’t force things during the game and sticks with her strong points like running a team, setting teammates up nicely as well as using her athleticism on both ends of the court. She understands the game and has good upside
McKenzie Mathurin -5’9 G (OK Swift)
Mathurin is a Tip Sheet waiting to happen and it’s irrelevant to call her a #D1Lock when she has OFFERS on the table yet she hasn’t hit the high school circuit hard quite yet so those offers will be growing because she does things effortlessly and within the team concept and it would be easier to write what she can’t do yet I can’t think of much. She has range, she’s long and athletic, she creates her shot for that mid to long jumper and she takes defenders with ease because of her first step and ball-handling. She has plenty of highlight finishes floating in my head, going coast to coast to finish is no problem nor is seeing the floor
Mia Ramos-5’5 G (SA Hoops)
Ramos has numerous stars and stripes by her name, enough to make a flag yet I love the way she creates her shot and sees the floor and by creating she can attack and finish after the lick or dish it off but she gets in there and rebounds against the taller players, that’s desire and understanding how to get good positioning, I love THROWBACK stuff and let me add she does a good job defending as well as what I really love seeing from players, she plays the passing lane
Milania Jordan-5’9 G (Team Jordan)
Jordan is on the verge of big things, I mean watching her zig-zag by defenders in the open court going coast to coast to finish, this includes after contact or seeing the floor setting up teammates for baskets yet her ability to attack the rim in the half-court is equally impressive. Her mid to long-range is good, she has a true jumper and she battles for rebounds but her POISE under pressure sets it off and sets the stage for my opening statement because when you can handle pressure with her skillset, all bets are off
Mylee Guinn-5’10 G (DC Queens)
Guinn was one of my many pleasant surprises that were long and athletic, I like that profile because it’s the base I use for many players who fall into that category, I’m not a novice so watching her move on the court told me a lot, as well as seeing her shoot the ball, the form is nice, the shot is fluid and consistent so when you factor in her wingspan, which has her over “the magic number” which is 6’0, as well as her upside, I’m definitely looking at her future progression on the court because she can handle the ball well and see the floor
Nakia Mojica-5’6 PG
Mojica is heady, she truly gets it and understands how to contribute and do things that may not necessarily show up on the stat sheet. One thing that had me get up was watching her go “back door” and I sent her a subliminal message to do it again, she did but she’s athletic and does a good job at handling the ball and attacking the rim
Madison Borjas-5’0 PG (SA Lady Hoops)
Borjas is a GAMER, I mentioned at the previous event she was exciting to watch, well she is because she’s a spark plug that can change the momentum in a game by either scoring, creating, and dropping the long ball is very nice or her catching and shooting the ball but she also can attack and drop the floater or come up with steals that lead to either layups or assists but let me drop this one #sizedontmatter because she can definitely play and she will keep coming at you
Layla Tovar -5’4 PG CenTex Attack)
Tovar sees the floor well, she handles the ball well but just as importantly, she handles pressure well and when you do that, stay under control and run a team, those are all huge pluses but she’s steady at making things happen and understands how to score “in the flow” that’s also a big plus but she showed a nice pull-up jumper that she can create while being defended as well as she attacks the rim hard and finishes
Lexi Galloway -5’4 G
Galloway defended well off the top, she showed that in the 1 on 1 but she’s also feisty and just creates issues even away from the ball on the defensive side. She does things instinctively, I talk about that often when I evaluate players, and another thing I mention that I look for is how players react in situations, she does that well as well but she also showed a nice mid-range pull-up that she could knockdown as well as attack the rim
Lily DelaRosa -5’4 PG (Wimberly Texans)
DelaRosa was solid at running the one, she handles the ball well under pressure and she sees the floor well, also under pressure yet her poise stood out because no matter what was thrown at her, it didn’t matter and that puts her into the “heady” category because she also showed she could create not only for herself but for her teammates. She has good upside and she plays within herself
Lailah Hatcher-5’7 PG (Della Lamb)
Hatcher was another PG that showed a lot of promise, she’s athletic and she can handle the ball coast to coast while being pressured but she also can see the floor while driving the length of it as well as hitting teammates in the half-court set. I also liked the way she attacked the basket, she did it strongly and under control while finishing after contact
LaNai’ya Harris-5’1 G (Hines 1)
Harris is definitely a #sizedontmatter player because just by her figuring out how to rebound against players 6 or more inches taller showed me off the top she can play. Thinking the game is a big part of it, she does that, and seeing her grab rebounds and blaze down the court coast to coast for baskets and (or) assists was nice
Kayla Phillips -5’10 F (BDA )
Phillips definitely is long and athletic and her energy level was equally impressive but what’s interesting is she’s from Houston and I don’t have any notes on her which puts her in that “talent is everywhere” category. She plays the passing lane well, she can handle the ball after the steal but what really got me was how strong she attacks the basket while staying under control. Her upside is huge, in fact, so are her “ups” as she elevates for rebounds on both ends of the floor
Kennedy Walters-5’4 PG (Texas Elite 2024)
Walters understanding and comprehension of the game jumps out at you, well me because I’m not a novice and let me go back to the “I love players that understand how to get theirs in the flow” because she doesn’t force things, she does a good job at controlling the tempo but she can definitely push the ball in the open court and see the floor yet she can also take defenders off the dribble and create contact which led to several “and one” opportunities
Makyah Foreman- 5’6 G (BDA)
Foreman is another Houstonian that made the trip and also another player from my city I knew nothing about, yeah talent is everywhere with the hashtag so she’s heady, she’s poised and under control so seeing her handle the ball under pressure and see the floor was definitely a good sign as well as watching her create her shot for the midrange or the attack
Joy Egbuna – 6’3 P (Team Jordan)
Egbuna went completely off the week before on day 2 and being a contributor to PGH Texas, I wrote she has the potential to dominate on both ends of the court, size does matter when you can play, so what else did she show me, she battles and did some #THROWBACK stuff by “staying with the ball off the glass” which means she wasn’t cemented in one spot. She has good hands and timing, she finished after contact and that UPSIDE is scary because of her power and size
Judith Okongo -6’1 P (Team Jordan)
Okongo is “long and athletic” so that’s the base and it also ties into her upside. She moves well, has good hands and footwork, she rebounds on both ends but her timing, I really like that because it’s consistent and she showed she could alter, deflect and even block shots. With her wingspan and ability to anticipate, she’s going to be playing the passing lane well, she showed she could finish as well as put the ball on the floor
Kameron Chambers-5’4 G (Proskills)
Chambers handles the ball well under pressure and can take defenders off the dribble, with either hand. This is attributed to her being able to create her shot, also under pressure as well a s a deceptive first step and when she attacks, she attacks strong and under control to either finish or dish the ball off for assists. Good athleticism and upside
Kamila Sosa-5’3 PG (SA Lady Hoops)
Sosa uses her athleticism well, she showed it early on the defensive end but she also attacks the rim strongly from just about everywhere and her body control enabled her to finish with contact. She also did a good job of both handling the ball and seeing the floor as well as creating a nice midrange jumper
Kamoree Daniels-5’9 G (Lady Vols)
Daniels is long and athletic, again I use that as the base and start filling in as I go. First of all, she does a good job at setting defenders up to take them off the dribble but that explosiveness on the first step is going to create problems and give her more options. She showed she could create her shot under pressure as well as hit the midrange and she played the passing lane
Kayla King -5’5 G (SA Lady Hoops)
King is athletic and attacks the rim yet it’s the way she attacks it that just “bursts” out and speaking of BURST, her explosiveness off the dribble combined with her ballhandling as well as staying under control are all really good signs. She saw the floor, in the half-court set or while she was attacking the basket to either dish or score and she saw in the open court
Abby Norris-5’8 G (Young Pro)
Norris is athletic and already gets it, especially on the simple things like “understanding positioning” which helped her grab some rebounds against taller players, well so did her athleticism as she just works hard on both ends of the court. She applies pressure on the defensive end yet brings that same pressure when attacking the basket, showing could finish after the lick
Arianna Jennings-5’7 PG (CenTex Seahawks)
Jennings is, let me drop it, long and athletic but oh my, she has several things to add, first of all, “ups” which shouldn’t be hard to figure out since her timing coupled with jumping ability enables her to snag rebounds and block shots but she also creates her shot to either attack and finish acrobatically or drop the mid to very long range on the jumper, scary upside
Ava Benavides-5’2 F (SA Lady Hoops)
Benavides has that #sizedontmatter hashtag because you guessed it, she can play and her fierce competitiveness, aka “she battles” just keeps her in the mix but she’s also athletic and does a good job on the defensive end, especially understanding when and when not to switch, she handles the ball well in traffic and also showed she could get the rim
Gigi Monda -5’4 G (Lady Hoops)
Monda just did a whole lot of extra things that kept me watching, first of all, I love when smaller players rebound against taller players, it’s just something I look at which shows desire as well as comprehension, two key words but she’s athletic and she does a good job at creating her shot, this can be dropping the jumper or attacking the rim but that, as well as her seeing the floor were all solid
Claudia Keene-5’3 G ( CyFair Elite 2026)
Keene can’t be related to Elizabeth on The Blacklist, that’s a fictional character but what I’m about to tell you about her game is completely true. She’s athletic and understands how to get to the rim, her explosive first step plays a huge part in that but she also has good hands, she picked several players and played the passing lane very well. Very good upside
Jasmine Culpepper- 5’2 PG (Centex Seahawks)
Culpepper has the makings of becoming a “nightmare to defend” and let me break it down on why I’m saying that and it starts with her creating her shot as well as her athleticism and ballhandling. She does a good job getting to the rim but she can also shoot the ball well from mid to long-range, she does that by creating her shot as well but here’s the kicker, she is showing an impressive C/S, my initials backward but more importantly “catch and shoot” and this will keep defenders guessing
Gabryela Galvan-5’3 G (SA Aces)
Galvan is short for GALVANIZE which in turn is sort of how she played defense but her energy did not go unnoticed because she applied it on both ends of the court. Baseline to baseline, her “on ball” was one of the best at the camp but she also did a good job of handling the ball under pressure, baseline to baseline.
Destiny Graves-5’5 G (Lady Hoops)
Graves is athletic and just showed great comprehension as well as how to play within herself yet she also showed she could score, in the flow, and just do some things the average evaluator wouldn’t notice, I’m not average. She set several picks that led to baskets or assists to baskets, she broke plays up, she switched at the right time and she brought some heat on the defensive end
