Oklahoma GOC 2027 Bringing IT

Few things impress me as I get older yet desire always will and observing the talent throughout the GOC organization was one of the many highlights on my trip to Oklahoma so here are some 7th graders I had a chance to evaluate

Kacee Ross

Ross is already showing signs of mastering the step back, this is huge at this stage of her playing and when you throw in the numerous moves and fakes she’s showing now, her upside is pretty good. She also created her shot under pressure, took the defender several times off the dribble, and has a nice pull-up

Addison Bernardi

Bernadi created her shot smoothly and deceptively as she showed the slight HEZZIE to get open yet she understands when to take her shot, the pull-up jumper is nice and she knocked it down, plus she sees the floor well

Koral Coy

Coy wasn’t there long but she was there long enough to show me she’s heady and comprehends the game and watching her just get after it during the 1 on 1 drill told me a lot

Rylan Leshaw

Leshaw is another of their young players that understand the importance of creating her shot under pressure and her ability to attack from multiple angles and finish with contact was nice, so was her jumper

Rylee Youngblood

Youngblood’s ceiling has no roof because she’s ultra-athletic and just gets after it on both ends. She relentlessly attacks the rim, is under control, and finishes strongly but she also elevates nicely on her jumper and she plays the passing lane. Throw in she sees the floor and battles for rebounds

Madison Lenardo

Lenardo has good timing, be it blocking shots or anticipating the pass, she understands how to trap and did a good job rebounding but she also does a good job attacking the rim and finishing. She’s long and athletic, that’s the base, and showed the jumper

Brentlee Woods

Woods has a very nice first step and that is going to create some problems as she gets older because she finishes strong off the dribble and she has numerous options because her jumper is solid but she also hustles, diving after loose balls are huge

Ella Roberts

Roberts also has a very nice first step, she took defenders with either hand and finished with, well either hand but she also has good timing and played the passing lane well but just watching her create her shot spoke volumes
