New Faces from Rosewood Division #TJShowcase
It’s always great seeing new faces of talented players so I’ll do a little something different and go through the divisions from the event. It’s ALWAYS important to turn in rosters which means GOVERNMENT NAME, JERSEY NUMBER, HEIGHT, GRADUATING CLASS, and CONTACT INFORMATION.
Phoenix Platinum won the division and Austin Fierce was the runner-up
July is coming and so many will turn in THAT AND MORE to NOT BE SEEN BY ANYONE yet here we go
Kimari Nikell-6’0 (Houston United Mike) 2026- uses her frame well inside the paint, on both ends. She rebounds, runs the floor, and finishes around the basket after contact. She also did a good job defensively
Anaya Whitby-5’9 (SA Infinity Green) 2026- long and athletic, which is the base, yet her energy stayed the same on both ends. She has good timing to block shots, she went AFTA everything off the rim, played solid defense, and scored off the dribble
Garnelle Zor-5’8 (SA Infinity Green) 2026- left me speechless at times as she’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is also the base. Her on-the-ball pressure as well as playing the passing lane was nice yet she scored off the dribble and showed she could drop the mid to long-range jumper
Angel Quick-5’5 (SA Infinity Green) 2026- did a good job defensively in the set as well as the full court, her court vision was solid and showed she could get by the defender to attack and score. The jumper was also nice, this included the “stop and pop”
Tori Ruffin (Lady Pro Skills SATX) 2026- does a good job attacking the basket strongly and finishing powerfully, after contact included. She also did a good job defensively and showed good timing to block shots
Daelyn Turner (KC-One) 2028- love her upside and didn’t realize she was only heading into high school but she’s an athletic guard who defends and understands how to set the defender up to score. Her “catch and shoot” from deep is going to create problems
