Memorial used to be one of the teams you had to go through in Region 3 to get to state and with the group of talented players who played within themselves as well as their system, they were hard to handle. Since then the Mustangs have continued to have some talented players, just not an abundance like they have now including Mackenzie McCown and Giana Vlahakos, a couple of talented juniors as well as Abigail Tomaski and Riley McCloskey, two of the Top 100 players in the 2023 class according to Prep Girl;s Hoops Texas evaluator, aka ME, not to leave out another talented sophomore Megan Medlenka.
