Langham Creek surprises me at FBISD Tournament

2013 FBISD Owens

Langham Creek jumped out to an impressive start this season, again opening the day beating Pearland who made it to the area regional semis last season and this time they did on the road. Their on blemish was 22 point loss to Klein Forest however put an asterisk on that margin because they weren’t at full strength. They were at filled to the top in the FBISD Tournament and the triplets simply went off. Cayline and Corrine Martin are both over six feet and biological sisters however another player over six feet, freshman Kayla Owens, has come in and helped make this team as exciting as when TK Lafleur, one of the country’s top players from that ever so impressive 2005 class was a Lobo. Adrianna Edwards is another key player while Ascension Henderson did some impressive things keeping everything together during the event. The twins are legitimate players, they gave Woods all they could handle in the semifinals and defeated Ranch for third place and that throws them in that ever so important “thick of things” in the District 17 race. Owens is a nationally ranked player, she will be one of the top recruits in the country and if you’re a college coach and don’t know about her, consider this a freebie
