Klein Forest Players Ready To Prove Doubters Wrong
JELIAH PRESTON
When you have a lot of talented players on a team sometimes chemistry may take a while for that formula to work. That chemistry could consist of outside or inside influences but the bottom line is talent usually comes out despite any negativity that was started. Klein Forest had the best 2014 class in the area, which showed after four freshmen helped lead that team to its first ever playoff berth in school history and after a somewhat disappointing sophomore season the players are ready to turn it up a notch on the summer circuit. Jeliah Preston is a gifted long ball shooter, Regina Scott can literally jump out of the gym, Ebony Parker is one of the top combo guards in the area while Ekiya Gray is a versatile player tipping the chart at almost 6’0 and can play just about any position. These young ladies plan on establishing themselves over the summer and come back next season with a vengeance and with so many of the top 2012 players graduating, many teams will be rebuilding in what should be a wide open race for best in the area.
