East Coast has even more flava for 2017
MEGAN WALKER & MAYKAYLA STANLEY
2017 is going to be a huge graduating class for colleges because in Texas alone, I can drop probably 20 names of BCS kids at you right now. The John Lucas 40/40 Camp gave me a chance to see three of the state’s top 2017 players, Alexis Morris, Deauzya Richards and Kayla Owens and although Chasity Patterson was out because of a sore calf, those four have BCS written all over them, trust me on that one and it’s a freebie. Karrington Donald and Treasure Mouton were a couple of other area freshmen that attended the camp, mark my word by the time it’s all said and done they will be among the state’s best as well as they are in unique positions to blow up in high school this season, just like the ones I previously mentioned.
The 2017 Virginia Kids were awesome as well, Megan Walker blew me away and made the Full Court Tip Sheet and a couple of more will be on my GPR Tip Sheet coming up and another couple on my out of state Tip Sheet, yes I amaze myself. Also from Virginia was Makayla Stanley, who I kept my eye on since she was wearing the number I’m turning next week, and Kayla Conner, both of whom are 6’2 and made their presence felt immediately. Dasia Delaney with her handles and athleticism, Mary Beth Ratchford with her mid to long range ability and and Taya Robinson with just about everything.
I encourage parents and players to get out of their comfort zones and observe talent away from their school and district, Houston is huge, Texas is bigger and the United States, well hopefully you get the message because #talentiseverywhere
