Eagles ready to climb Hill again

I’ve watched Barbers Hill multiple times in the preseason, first at The Last Run and last weekend at the Greater Houston Invitational. I’ve also watched several of their players during the summer and as I stated after watching them during The Last Run, their performance at the GHI tells me that they will be one of the teams that will make a run in 4A this season.  Leah Silva just keeps getting better, she has been hard to handle all season.  Kristina Kana has also elevated her game and the Emily Minor is doing more than adequate job in the paint on both ends of the floor. Abbey Houghton isn’t always going to show up huge in the box score but you better believe she’s doing whatever it takes to help her team win. Speaking of doing whatever it takes, Kimberly Carter started as a freshman on the team that made it to state, she’s sort of like the glue holding everything together whether it’s on offense or defense. Leah Boehl and Taylor Davis are bringing plenty energy when they step in the game and the Eagles are ready to soar once again
