District 7-toughest in the state

Mansfield Rotary Champion Cedar Hill is a very talented basketball team and after seeing several of their players play during the summer, I felt they might have a shot at a state championship. An ACL injury to Labrittney Jones changed my views considerably however when the playoffs start, you only have to be the best team that particular day. Rotary runner-up Mansfield Timberview was also one of the teams I considered having an outside chance to do some damage and they too could get hot at the right time and make a run. Region 1 might be the toughest in the state however there is no doubt that District 7 is in a class by itself. With these two teams, along with Sandra Meadows champ Duncanville and third place finisher Desoto, not to mention South Grand Prairie who would not only make the playoffs in many other districts, I’m sure they would even win more than a few
