DC Queens Centex wins Prime Time 11th/12th Division

2020 DC Queens Centex

GRAPEVINE, TX- One more time, 20 years and counting for Prime Time and even though I haven’t been covering it the whole time, I have had a chance to see some of the best players not only in Texas, but across the country come and play in their vents, including the National Championship so catching several of the winners during my two days of coverage was awesome as I divided my time between Grapevine and Frisco. I’ll be dropping a recap from both days on here, always check my blog and if you don’t follow me on social media, you probably should if you want accurate, unbiased information from an evaluating genius but let me start off with a special story on DC Queens Centex (Lady Wolfpack) who won the 11th/12th Grade Division

I’ve watched this squad for four years and the core group has remained the same with 2021 players Daisy Rodriguez, who just keeps amazing me with her shooting and acrobatics as well as Valerie Panuco, who is my Player Spotlight standout on my blog, you need to read that too. Then you have 2022 Caitlyn Panuco, a do it all scorer that just finds ways to put the ball in the basket, from everywhere and with her range as well as ability to run the point, she is about to heat up even more. Tabitha Johnson controls the paint, at 6’2 she has expanded her game to score from outside but with her size and frame, not to mention mobility, she definitely has raised a lot of next level eyes but those four have been around since day one.

2021 Precious Daily has been around forever, well I have known her since my daughter played at Texas A&M so I guess Precious was around 7 but her addition played a big part in their championship because not only is she another scoring threat, she has a knack for making things happen on the defensive end and when you add another scorer and ballhandler to the equation, that speaks volumes. Let me turn up the volume with a couple of 2024 players. Mar’Cyah Willis upside is scary, she’s long, athletic, and can flat out shoot the ball from outside while Elaina Burns has the right last name because she had the nets burning a number of ways. She’s a gamer, her mindset already is “you can’t stop me” and these two will be ready to add to the core group coming back for next season

One more time, Tip Sheets will be coming from both days, I appreciate those who took the time to get me non erroneous rosters, this saves me time and doesn’t take away my time of watching other players
