Day 2 Prime Time Nationals #NBC21

JAAIRA FLETCHER

I chose to use Jaaira Fletcher (Texas Elite-Hogg) photo of her flexing because she opened up #NBC21 with a strong performance and I told her, you played like a #BEAST so I got my photo of the 2023 star who keeps progressing but guess what, day 2 had so many players capable of playing somewhere at the next level and I try and explain to parents and players to stop listening to fools who don’t know TH they’re talking about but my Friday changed up because I was supposed to be in Frisco yet I needed to get the older girls out there so 9th and 10th-grade divisions were the focus

BETTY GESLER

It just occurred to me that Betty Gessler and Sophia Gesler had the same surname, last name, so if they’re twins or sisters, had at least a couple of sets that stood out but the Louisiana Aces coach had a great talk with me and reminded me I put his team out there when my daughter was still playing at Texas A&M when they were under another name, those are the stories that keep me going, especially a young lady who was assisting her dad on the bench on opening day and told me I wrote about her years ago at Super 64 and she received a D1offer a few days later so in spite of the nonsense this has become, that makes me smile

TAYLOR LEE

Talent is everywhere, that’s why I hashtag it and Taylor Lee definitely showed plenty of potential so I can’t wait to see her next time as well as Texas Lone Star Orange who have quite a few including twins Elizabeth and Olivia Knight so stay tuned, I will be dropping TIP SHEETS o here possibly next week after I regroup but today will be Duncanville Fieldhouse action as I get to see a couple of players that left me speechless on the Prep Girls Hoop circuit, Tatem Adair (Dynasty 17U) and Desiree Penn-Marshall (Oklahoma Chaos) perform in 11th/12th Grade Division
