Although I wasn’t in New York to see the Las Vegas Aces win their second consecutive WNBA Championship, I was there in spirit and after the game, I received a call from former Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair who offered his congratulations. He’s one of the main reasons she not only got into the league, 2011 National Championship, but he made a call to help her get back into the league after being cut and for those things, I will forever be grateful
