CY CREEK READY FOR ANOTHER RUN
When you have a team that has made it to the state tournament two of the past three seasons, that speaks volumes, especially in this era as I’ve become to see more balance among some of the regions yet the Cougars have come close and yearned for that state title championship in 6A. I’ve heard mixed reviews on whether or not they’ll have a state tournament, let alone playoffs yet if they are, this is the team to beat
The backcourt of Kyndall Hunter and Rori Hunter, two players I called #D1Locks before they played their first middle school game, are one of the best backcourts in the country, how do I know that without seeing thousands of backcourts in the country some my ask, well I know where the bar was set decades ago and there is no me so that should be enough yet for some who can’t grasp that part, both have commited to the University of Texas
It doesn’t stop there as Taylor Jackson joins the duo to form their own version of “The Big Three” Ri’Yah Francis, Haleen Harris and Trinity Santaserio as well as the extrememly athletic Jasmyn Jackson, well this team is solid and always remember where the game satarts, at the one and if anyone tells you anything differently…..
