Austin Elite RFW captures WNBA crown in Hoopfest

Fonzzell Martin and Tommy Gregg  were running Austin Elite long before I decided to become involved in this and both have daughters that have gone on to not only play at the next level but excel as well. They have placed countless young ladies in the right position to do the same thing and after watching them yet another season, nothing has changed as they show up with shows up. Their RFW team defeated the Houston Insiders in the WNBA Division Championship and this team looks a little different than last seasons.

Tyesha Taylor, Mary Grace Bilby, Essence Sauls and Jazzmine Ortiz have all elevated their games. Taylor is also one of the top bigs in the country has made a full recovery from a late school season injury. Newcomers Sarai Rodriguez, Saundra Guillory, Kennedy Harris and Jailon Walls all have filled in nicely. Harris showed she has the ability to put up big numbers while Walls and Guillory add even more height to the program. Rodriguez is another player that can drop the long ball and you probably want to remember this name, Tia Harston, a freshman sensation from Killeen HS.
