Area Tournament Winners

Loryn Goodwin exploded for 20 points in the championship game which saw Cy Falls defeat Klein Collins 72-41 in the Katy Nike Invitational. This sets the stage for their Wednesday match-up against Dekaney.

Dekaney won the Terry Tournament with ease as they defeated Klein in the championship 61-34. Dekaney had three players in double figures and were led by Kayla Nevitt (14) along with Jaleesa Chappel and Alexis Durley who both scored 11. Ashley Alexander led Klein with 13.

Bellaire won the HISD Invitational against Temple 58-51 and they were led in scoring by Raven Burns (27) and AJ Alix (24). Temple was led by Tyesha Taylor (23) and Katara Chapel (14)

Dallas Lincoln has won the Aldine Tournament back to back, this time defeating Westbury Christian in the final 65-51. Cameasha Turner’s (20) and Ri’Kel McNight’s (12) led the attack for Lincoln while Wetbury Christian’s Tiffany Davis went completely off for 36!
