#AllEyezOnShe 17U All-Star Team
All I can say is WOW and although I may sound like a broken record, my views on player development and not settling, also known as PROGRESSION, fits this group to a tee as I have been watching all since middle school, one is still in middle school and will be added to the PGH Texas 2027 Top 100 but here ya go
Kyzarriah Fox (SA Lady Hoops Navy) has taken her game to another level and when you factor in her growth spurt, she’s over “the magic number” which is 6’0 and she’s “long and athletic”, her ceiling has NO ROOF. The talented 2027 went after everything off the rim and scored on putbacks as well as around the basket yet she dropped the jumper and showed she could handle the ball to attack the basket and finish strongly after contact. To say she is a #D1Lock is an understatement, when I say it, it happens and her playing the passing lane as well as blocking shots also spoke volumes
Alaysia Gude ( Waco United/ Lady Jets) coming off a State Championship season with LaVega, has shifted into another gear. Her explosiveness off the dribble as well as in the open court has always been there and her acrobatic finishes after contact make her a “highlight waiting to happen”. She also drops the mid to long-range yet her court vision, in the set or from the other end of the court is nice, especially when she can pass with either hand
Tiara Louis (Arnold Elite)
Louis falls into that “makes those around her better” group I love talking about and I enjoy teasing her with “What’s your name” every time I see her. Her name is GAMER, and she can take over offensively in the blink of an eye, her stop-and-pop jumper in transition is hard to deal with as well as her showing multiple ways to get to the basket and finish from a variety of angles. She’s vocal and sets her teammates up for scoring opportunities because her court vision is solid
Kianna Wormly (Phoenix Select 2025) is another player that has astounded me and is as good as she was when I caught her in middle school. she’s one of the most improved players that I had already dropped the #D1Lock on back then. She elevates for rebounds as well as over defenders and her body control is unreal, especially after contact so seeing her be the recipient of alley-oops gets me excited, and so does her first step. She also drops the jumper mid to long-range
Soma Okolo (Phoenix Select 2025) I’ll never forget Coach Myers asking me to stick around and watch this young lady a few years ago and let me say this, I haven’t taken my eyes off of her because not only is she “long and athletic” she’s ULTRA athletic and when you factor in her rebounding and go coast to coast for baskets, well that’s one thing but her pull-up jumper in transition is creating some problems. She scores around the basket with either hand, her timing to block, alter, and (or) deflect shots is nice and she defends both in and outside the paint. She’s dunked in games, and she’s also been the recipient of alley-oops but her double-digit D1 offers prove there are not a lot of players walking around with what she brings to the table
