District 20 ready for another battle

The District 20 race will probably boil down to Bellaire and Westside again and after seeing Bellaire several times and some of the new additions on Westside’s squad, once the playoffs start, both teams will probably be in a position to pull off some surprises along the way. Bellaire’s Irenisha Johnson is a freshman and doesn’t realize it based on what I saw at the GHI. She’s poised and under control and at 5’10 adds even more to the Cardinal’s scoring in the paint. The Wolves’ Tajh Gillespi didn’t play because of a minor injury however I’m hearing she can do a lot of things at 6’0. Alexis Adams did play; she’s super athletic and 6’2 and has the ability to create some problems on both ends
