Conroe Tournament shows off freshman stars

The Conroe Tigerette Tournament started off with a bang and gave me just what I needed, a glimpse of the teams from around the area along with the new talented players entering high school that will be the stars of the future. It also gave me a look at a couple of teams who are missing players from last season who have transferred, Conroe’s Haley Mack is now at Trinity while College Parks Armani Asberry is the secret weapon I’ve been hearing about at Bellaire

Three freshman stepped on center stage, Christina Roberts (Jersey Village), Natasha Mack (Lufkin) and Erica Powell (Conroe) and they will be among the ones who are at the head of the list when they graduate on to the next level while Jessica Munoz (Cy Creek) and Rexesha Hollis showed a lot of upside as well
