Lady Terrapins finish with a bang

Shantrel Lumar showed she could run a team which is good news for the 2013 point guard from Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, LA. Her ability to get the ball to right person at the right time helped her club team, the Louisiana Lady Terrapins, put on a nice showing at the BigTyme Fall Finish. She had a few targets to choose from as Nicole Lang and Brandy Jordan were filling it up from the outside and Kenya Dixon,  Shay Howard and Nya Duhe did some damage on the inside. Lang, Jordan, Dixon and Duhe like Lumar are all seniors who have the ability to play at the next level in fact Dixon was simply a beast on opening day in one of the best battles in the tournament as she went against Kim Nebo. Her effort was good enough to make my Full Court tip sheet.

NYA DUHE

2014 players Destiny Belle, Channan Simmons, Jermani Thompson and Kyrian Wallace showed a lot of potential, Belle is small yet explosive while Wallace is 6’0 and rugged so I’m looking forward to seeing the Lady Terps next season
