How about that, Deauzya Richards has made the front page twice in less than two months and she still hasn’t made it to high school. The same thing can be said for several others, that’s the advantage of having Girlz Prep Report observing young talent early and calling it before it actually happens, sort of like magic with no illusions. Richards could start on many high school teams right now and the that could also be said for the other four young ladies I’ve listed that I had a chance to see so far this season. To be honest, there are some other players that are only a hair behind. I’ll even take it a step further and say if these five were starting on a make believe high school team, they would not only compete but possibly make the playoffs in some districts. What determines my reasoning? Actually I do have a formula unlike some of the lists you might see floating around that sometimes might have you scratching your heads. I look at young players who are able to dominate at their age while showing they have the ability to compete when they get a chance to play against older players and these young ladies have shown me just that at an early age. As I stated before, many more are only a hair behind and over the years I’ve seen players catch and pass those who were ahead of them so it’s always important to keep working and watch your back.
