2022 All Eyez On Me Tip Sheet-C/O 2026
I had a chance to catch some impressive players about to enter high school and many of these players I have seen before, some for a few years and let me drop this one more time, I AM BIG ON PROGRESSION, and I’m often bewildered when people name drop who they’re working out with, who they are being coached by and what school they are attending and all of that’s fine and dandy but the only thing I look at, is what you do on the court and some of these players are going to make impacts in high school, almost off the top
Lilah Yanover-5’2 PG (EKLAH) when I write SHIFTY that says a lot and playing back her maneuvering in traffic with the ball over and over JUST DID IT for me. Her ability to change directions going full-speed is ahead of her years, nice court vision coupled with solid passes but she also creates her shot to attack and finish or drop the pull-up jumper, and has good upside
Kylie Trlicek-5’6 G (La Grange) created her shot nicely, under pressure, and showed she could score off the dribble by attacking the basket with either hand. She also used that creativity to drop the jumper but what stood out as well was her “on the ball” defensive pressure going baseline to baseline as well as in the set
Leah Mitchell-5’4 G (East Central) her pull-up jumper is nice, especially when she drops it with a hand in her face and she also can take the defender off the dribble, the first step is the key, but her finishes are something else because of her body control and seeing her drop shots acrobatically after contact was nice
Maddie Peiffer-5’8 G (Georgetown) showed she could do plenty of things well, starting with “understanding how to get hers in the flow” which will always be huge but her court vision was nice, she made solid passes in traffic. She also scored off the dribble from multiple angles and she dropped the jumper
Maddison Hendrix-5’3 G (HOMESCHOOL) one of the players I’m watching elevates her game every time I see her. Yes, I love the defense, she goes hard, well on both ends but her attacking the rim and finishing after contact has taken off, so has her adding the step back to her jumper after creating her shot
Nadia Adeleke-5’8 G (Vista Ridge) her pull-up jumper in transition as well as scoring off the dribble are both solid yet she was always a tough rebounder on both ends, she now handles it C2C afterward, that’s coast to coast. Solid defender, yep, but her showing the reverse lay-up in traffic and me leaping off the floor, sort of
Nadine Adeleke-5’7 G (Vista Ridge) playing the passing lane is something I LOVE to see players do, she is making it an art so she rebounds strongly, she defends “on the ball” as well as in the set and she has quick hands for steals but the jumper is looking good, so is her scoring off of putbacks, after contact included
Ava Machuca-5’3 G (Temple) one thing is for sure, she can definitely put the ball in the basket and the numerous times I have PU for various sessions tells me that pull-up was clicking, She creates her shot for the jumper and she also scores off the dribble but when she started using the step back effectively, that was smooth
Danielle Vinklarej-5’7 G (Flatonia) created her shot under pressure and dropped the jumper while being defended, two big pluses right there but she also set the defender up with a deceptive first step to get them off balance so she could attack and score. She saw the floor, made solid passes, nice upside
Kalen Scott-5’6 G (Flatonia) created her shot over and over and did it in a variety of ways. Slight HEZ or head fakes, nice first step as well, she kept finding ways to either get her shot off, the midrange was slid, as well as attack the rim and finish. A good defender that understands how to set payers up for the trap
Natally Hurst-5’9 F (Steele) long and athletic will ALWAYS be the base so let me add I enjoyed her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots, she played the passing lane, she elevated for rebounds and she showed she could score off the dribble from the wing. Her pull-up jumper was smooth and so is her upside
Parker Featherstone-5’7 G ( Round Rock) she probably got tired of me yelling PARKER over the weekend, it doesn’t matter, she has definitely added more than just dropping outside shots. She scored off the dribble, finished after contact, rebounded on both ends, handled the ball while seeing the floor and her defense was solid, but that outside shot, the range is getting deeper
Rebecca Robinson-5’6 G (Steele) continues to show me she can do more than drop the long ball, yeah it’s still there, catch and shoot is looking good, yet her ability to attack and finish after contact is nice, why, well one reason is THE HEZ, and that also enables her to get the midrange going. Court vision, a huge plus, and her defense is solid
Summer Sodek-5’6 G (Flatonia) poised under pressure is what I keep saying no matter what the setting is and yeah, she can shoot the mid to long-range while being defended and yes she can score off the dribble but she also can do it down the stretch as the ice water runs through her veins. Court vision and ball-handling have shot up
Caleigh Rogers- 5’7 G (Cedar Park) going back to Caleigh, I think so because she can drop it rat-a-tat-tat and not only did she show she can get on roll and score from outside, I was also impressed at her going C2C, see above, after rebounding to either take the jumper, score off the dribble or hit teammates for scoring opportunities
